We had a decent night last night with the tips as we went 2-1.
We had over 6 in the Battle of Ontario. And as always this was a great game. The Leafs had the only goal of the 1st but the Sens stormed back in the 2nd with 3 unanswered. But the Leafs responded with 3 of their own in the third and came away with the 4-3 win.
We also had the Avalanche to continue their hot streak and beat the Rangers and they did just that winning 3-1. It incredible to see the Avs turn things around the way they have after finishing last in the league last year. This was the Avs 9th straight win which is the first time they have had such a run since October of 2000. They won the cup that year.
Our loss of the night was over 5.5 in the Flyers vs Devils game. This game stayed low when the Flyers beat the Devils 3-1. The Devils are having a rough time recently going 3-4-3 over their last 10.
We had another play in our unit bets, the Lightning to win against the Wild but the Wild scored the first three goals of the game and held on for the 5-3 win.
A good day of hockey for us with 5 games scheduled. And the start times are stretched out nicely so it works out to over 12 hours of hockey with the first game starting at 12:30 pm ET and the last starting at 10:30 pm.
Canucks vs Jets Betting Tips:
The Canucks played last night and got beat 5-2 by the Oilers.
The Jets could move back into first place in the Central Division with a win in this game. They are at home where they have been amazing going 16-3-1 and their record against Vancouver over the last 10 meetings is 8-2.
With the Canucks playing late last night and the Jets success not only at home but also against the Canucks I’m going with Winnipeg to win this game in regulation.

Flyers vs Capitals Betting Tips:
The Flyers are rolling right now winning 6 of their last 7 games. They have moved themselves to within one point of the final playoff spot.
The Capitals have lost 2 in a row but before that they had won 6 of 8.
The Flyers last 4 games had goal totals of: 4, 5, 6 and 9. The Caps: 5, 7, 7 and 4. So mixed results there but when these two teams last played each other it was the Flyers pounding the Caps 8-2.
The Caps have been a tough team to predict this year and with the last game against the Flyers being so one sided I think the Caps will look for revenge so I like this to be high scoring. Graeme wasn’t a fan of this tip so that’s why we went with .5 units.

Good Morning Everybody.
I like the Caps, Jets and Kings to get it done today. I’m leaning Knights and Ducks as well. Jets are @-220 so too expensive to play and Canucks may get Bo horvat back. Jets aren’t worth that price.
I think we get a Caps team today that plays 60min if hockey after losing a few straight and getting embarrassed 8-2 by this Philly team last meeting. Flyers beat Devils yesterday so on a B2B. The most important trend in this game is Philly only has 1 road win against their division this season. Capitals win today.
Kings don’t have good H2H vs NYR but I believe they get off their 6G losing streak tonight. Rangers playing B2B in west coast. I mentioned this a few days ago when PIT was playing in Cali on B2B days. They lost to the Ducks and beat the Kings. Yesterday rangers lost to Avs and now travel even further west to meet a team hays hungry for a W? Kings win.

Do you still trust Caps after what they’ve shown against Habs?
To be honest, I don’t trust them to much. However, I don’t trust the Flyers on the road even more and Caps have dominated them at home. It is a bet I am only playing small. They have to be motivated after losing to the Habs.
I don’t know why I keep betting on Caps, they are playing some terrible hockey right now.
It’s the Caps special. Questionable effort -> OT loss, bad effort -> reg loss, better effort but can’t flip a switch -> OT loss, wake up call -> beat a good team.
Same dance as when they lost to the Coyotes, then Vegas, Rangers and beat the Bruins. They probably beat the Panthers in the next game.
I wanted to take Flyers originally. Think I read too much saying “Caps caps caps” to the extent it changed my mind. Must learn to trust instinct over the crowd sometimes
It was a bumpy night but with Jets and Kings making up for Caps and Ducks I got some real profit on Knights.
Me neither. I’m going back to my rule. No Caps, No Hawks and No Pens.
Very disappointing, they had about 20 scoring chances and they just couldn’t score a single goal…

I don’t like to bet on early games, so Philly/Caps is off, with the Caps being so inconsistent. Both teams are playing their third game in four days, and Philly is on a back-to-back today, so both teams could be sloppy. Vegas is on a back-to-back, but are a great team. When will they snap out of their post-break doldrums? They should win today, since Carolina is a good, but not great team. Winnipeg should win, but both Vancouver and Winnipeg are on back-to-back games including travel, so not sure. Anaheim is obviously thrilled to be mostly healthy again, and San Jose is on a back-to-back and it’s their third game in four nights. San Jose can be excused for losing from fatigue, age and slower, softer play tonight. No bet on Rangers/LA, since both teams are playing their third game in four nights and the Rangers are on a back-to-back including travel. Yikes!

Sharks are on a pretty rare 5in7-stretch. Whenever i see that i wonder how the NHL allows it. 3in4’s and 4in6’s are already tough enough, but when you play 5 times in a week that’s a bit too much.
Last night they had that emotional game against the Pens and to get right back at it today against the rested Ducks playing well and hungry for points ? Anaheim has to take advantage here.
Yeah, thats pretty tough ^^ Do you take the Ducks in reg? Whats your thoughts about Kings/Rangers? For me the odds for NY are too high here – great value.
Yeah Ducks in reg, i’d expect them to grind the Sharks down being a heavy team, just hoping Dell doesn’t stand on his head, but the ML isn’t enough value (i don’t play anything less than 1.80). Teams in 5in7 usually look more gassed than normal. Im hoping the Ducks get off to a good start, play with the lead and take control of the game. Would be tough for the Sharks to play catch up.
Rangers-Kings i expect to be a close game, Kings won’t stop pushing for that 1 win so in a sense im getting more and more uncomfortable betting against them. But i do agree value is on the Rangers, i’d be surprised to see the Kings suddenly win in regulation when they can’t seem to score. Im debating between OT and NYR ML. Im not a fan of the Rangers but could see them winning this one, i’d take the ML though.
Yeah. I’ll take Ducks reg with 2 units & Rangers ML with 1 unit (if Lundqvist is in net). I don’t know what to do with the Jets – I’m afraid that this could be such an “easy” bet like the Blues yesterday. I could get them in reg @1.82
Yeah i passed on the Jets game. They should win but the Canucks aren’t a pushover right now and the Jets might have their stomachs full beating VAN so many times recently, especially after just snapping the Flames 7 game winning streak they might feel like it’s going to be easy.
Horvat might be back as well and he’s a catalyst for the Canucks so interested to see how that one goes.
Holy crap the Ducks don’t seem to realize this is a 4 point game.. 3 things they should’ve done to capitalize on the Sharks fatigue.
1) come out of the gates hard to get that 1st goal
2) play with a lot of pace
3) don’t take dumb penalties
They give up the 1st goal, play way too slow and take dumb penalties. 5 on 5 the Sharks haven’t had much offense going on at all and yet the game is 3-0.
Im really starting to doubt the Ducks making a big push for the playoffs this year.. they seem kind of like Pittsburgh were in a sense that sense of urgency is only there for a couple nights, then it fades away again.

I heard a crazy stat last week on the amount of games this year that have gone to OT, if someone has the time research it feel free, I can’t remember exactly. I do know that Caps are in the top 3 of this catergory of OT games. The Leaferzzz are right up there as well. Yes, if you can watch the game live OT play has amazing value if both teams are playing as a playoff atmosphere chess match.

Liking the comments. I’m trying to beat a 12x rollover on sportsbettingdotag (I am only there for the free play), I got a $25 on no deposit and I have managed to get up to $89.30. Hit a +150 on UFC last night and then dumped it on Philly Moneyline. I’m thinking about putting it on the Ducks in regulation. Any more analysis that could back this bet?
