9 games yesterday. And went 0-1 with the tip.
Had the Jets to win if Hellebuyck got the start. He did but Utah came away 5-2 winners.
The Bruins picked up a win against the Sharks 6-3.thanks to Coyles 2 goals in the 3rd. The Wild snapped their losing skid at 3 games when they beat the Avalanche 3-1.
The Blues beat the Knights 5-4 in a shootout. The Isles beat the Jackets 3-1, avoided the Kings in regulation which was great as they lost 5-1 to the Pens and the Canes beat the Hawks 4-3 in overtime so another one where I missed a loss.
8 for us tonight.
Lightning vs Canadiens
Lightning played last night against the Leafs.
The Habs have been playing great since they have had Dobes in goal. They are 7-2-1 in last 10 and Dobes has started his career going 5-0.
The Habs should be riding the momentum that Dobes has given them but the Lightning are expected to go with Vasilevskiy after he didn’t play last night.
Senators vs Rangers
The Sens have won their last 2 games and are are 5-3-2 in last 10. They are in 4th in the Atlantic
The Rangers are 6-1-3 in last 10 and are in need of some points to climb back up the standings as they currently sit in 5th in the Metro.
The data is close here and it’s making it hard to pick a winner.
Wings vs Flyers
The Wings have lost 2 in a row but are 7-3 in last 10. They are in 7th in the Atlantic.
The Flyers have won their last 2 and are 5-3-2 in last 10.
These teams records are close with the Wings going 21-21-4 and the Flyers 21-20-6. Wings on road 9-10-2, Flyers at home 10-11-1.
These teams are so close that I could make an argument for each team. I’m passing.
Sharks vs Predators
Nope nothing here.
Hurricanes vs Stars
Hurricanes played yesterday and won in overtime against the Blackhawks.
The Stars are 7-3 in last 10 and have gone 17-6-1 at home. They are playing well defensively too ranking 4th in GAPG and 7th in SOGA. Also they have the top ranked penalty kill.
Canes have better CF, CA, SF/60 and SA/60. The Stars are better in GF and GA. This should be a good game.
Capitals vs Oilers
Caps on a roll winning their last 4 games and are 7-0-3 in last 10. The Oilers lost their last game but are 8-2-0 in last 10.
With the way both teams are playing it’s tough to try and predict a winner. The Caps road record is 15-6-1, the Oilers home record is 15-7-1.
McDavid has been suspended for 3 games but the Oilers may come together to pick up the slack with him missing.
Panthers vs Ducks
Panthers are in 2nd in the Atlantic. They rank in the top 10 in GPG, SOG and power play %.
Ducks on a 3 game losing skid and are 3-5-2 in last 10. The are in 7th in the Pacific and 28th overall.
All the data points to a Panthers win. The Corsi is strongly on their side. They did just play each other and the Panthers won that 3-0. A Panthers in regulation play was what I wanted to take but the best Odds I could find were under the minimum.
Sabres vs Canucks
Sabres played yesterday so I’ll avoid them. They lost 6-4 to the Kraken.
The Canucks haven’t yet dealt with the drama surrounding the team and it’s stars so another team I’m avoiding.
