One tip yesterday but it didn’t come through for us.
We had the Penguins to win in regulation against the Jets. The Pens did win but it was in a shootout 3-2. The Jets were up 2-0 after the 2nd but the Pens came back to tie it up and force OT.
A couple upsets happened. The Sens beat the Jackets 2-1 to end their 3 game losing streak and the Kraken beat the Panthers 5-3.
Wow what a weekend of NFL Divisional finals that was. All 4 games were close and just a blast to watch. I’m a Lions fan so I obviously don’t have my team in the playoffs but my old quarterback back is and Stafford and the Rams look great. Although they almost fell victim to “Brady Time” after the Bucs were down 27-3 just after halftime but tied it up. The Rams kicked a field goal with 4 seconds left to move onto the NFC Championship next Sunday against the 49ers.
For today we have 7 games.
Knights vs Capitals Betting Tips:
The Knights are coming off of a 8 game home stand where they won only 3 games. They now head on the road for 4 games and all are against tough teams; The Caps, Canes, Panthers and Lightning.
The Caps are also struggling going 3-4-2 in 2022.
With both teams struggling its tough to call a winner. I am leaning towards a Caps win since they are at home and the Knights are without Stone and Pacioretty yet again. But I can’t make it a tip thanks to their poor play of late.
Kings vs Rangers Betting Tips:
The Rangers have won their last 4 home games. The Kings played last night and won.
The Kings will be playing their 2nd back to back in a week so fatigue may play a roll for them here. 5 games in 7 days will be tricky to deal with.
The Rangers home record is 12-3-2 including their last 4 in a row in New York, the Kings road record is 8-6-3.
All signs point to a Rangers win. The last 4 wins at home have been against some tough teams and all were won in regulation time.

Stars vs Flyers Betting Tips:
The Flyers have lost 11 straight. The Stars have won 2 in a row.
I would like to say that the Flyers skid continues but the Stars are a bad road team going 6-12-1.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Stars win here but I can’t make it a tip.
Ducks vs Bruins Betting Tips:
The Ducks have lost their last 4 road games. The Bruins have won their last 2 game and have gone 8-2 over their last 10.
I like the Bruins to win here but to get any value it would need to be -1.5.
Looking back at the Bruins wins this month two of them needed OT and another 3 were decided by 1 goal. I have to skip this one.
Canadiens vs Wild Betting Tips:
This game has garbage odds. The Wild will probably win but even a -1.5 is only 1.74 Odds. The risk is not worth the reward here.
Blues vs Flames Betting Tips:
The Blues have won their last 3 games and sit in 2nd place in the Central. The Flames are 3-8-1 over their last 12 but feel optimistic about things turning around for them.
They lost their last game to the Oilers but outshoot them and realize that that loss was something to build off of.
The Blues played last night and won. They play the Flames again in their next game.
With the Blues on a win streak it would seem like they should be the pick here. But the Flames have high hopes they things are going to turn around for them. They have 5 games in hand on the division leading Knights but are only 8 points behind them. I’m skipping this game as the Flames seem amped up right now.
Blackhawks vs Avalanche Betting Tips:
Another game where the odds make it not worth it.
The Avalanche -1.5 is only 1.76. They have won 6 in a row and the Hawks have dropped their last 3.
The Avalanche have had 6 games go to extra time this month so the -1.5 isn’t worth it. Now that I have said that and I’m skipping this game the Avalanche will win by like 6 goals but so be it.
Hi Scott, Im leaning on going over 5.5 in the rangers game and wanted your opinion on it.
