We had no tips yesterday.
The Sens beat the Sabres 5-0. Ennis scored a hat trick and Sabres goalie Aaron Dell lowered the shoulder and hit Batherson who went crashing into the boards and injured his ankle. Sens coach Smith said that Batherson will now miss the all-star game as he deals with the injury.
The Canes beat the Knights 4-3 in overtime. The Stars beat the Devils 5-1 and Pavelski scored twice and added 2 assists.
The Isles beat the Flyers 4-3 which was the 13th straight loss for the Flyers. Yandle played and is now the leader in consecutive games played at 965. He hasn’t missed a game since March 22, 2009.
5 games today.
Sharks vs Capitals Betting Tips:
The Caps are struggling right now. The were on a 15-4-3 run to end the year but have gone 3-5-2 in 2022.
The Sharks have dropped their last 2 and after missing Saturdays game, Erik Karlsson underwent forearm surgery and will be out until at least March.
Both teams struggling right now. I would lean towards a Caps win and it would have to be in regulation. Their last 2 wins were in overtime so that makes this game an easy skip for me.
Ducks vs Leafs Betting Tips:
The Ducks haven’t been that strong when on the road this season going 8-9-3. They have won their last 2 games but have gone 4-6-0 over the last 10.
The Leafs are 7-2-1 over last 10 and have won their last 3 home games.
The Leafs switched up their lines at practice on Monday breaking up the top line. He has Matthews on one line, Tavares and Marner another and Willie Nylander on the 3rd line. It’s great to spread out the talent and if it works then the Leafs are that much deeper. Not sure if they use this setup for today’s game.
I like the Leafs to win this game but a Leafs -1.5 is only 1.86. If they do switch up the lines it may take some time for the team to get used to it. I have to skip this game and see how the lines work out.
Flames vs Jackets Betting Tips:
The Jackets are on a rough slide going 6-14-1. They have scored only 7 goals over their last 4 games and their power play has been bad going 3 for 45 over their last 20 games.
The Flames seemed to have found life. After losing to the Oilers the team was optimistic that they would turn things around. In their next game it seems to have worked as they pounded the Blues 7-1. They have won 2 of 3 and scored 15 goals over this span.
I feel like the Flames are going to go on a run and a struggling Jackets team will only help them build confidence.

Blackhawks vs Red Wings Betting Tips:
Old rivalry here between 2 Original 6 teams.
The Hawks have lost 4 in a row going 0-2-2 and scoring only 6 times during, the Wings are also sliding. They have lost their last 2 games and have won only 3 times over their last 11 games.
The Wings won the first game between these teams 6-3 back in October but with the way they’re playing now I have no idea who wins this one.
Bruins vs Avalanche Betting Tips:
Rask hasn’t been his usual self for the Bruins allowing 5 goals for the 2nd time in 3 games. He is 2-2-0 with a .844 save percentage and a 4.28 GAA. But the Bruins have been playing well this month. They have played 13 games and have won 10 of them.
The Avalanche are just crushing it right now. They have won their last 16 (not a typo) straight at home and last 7 overall. At home this season they have gone 18-2-1. They are in tied for 2nd place overall in the league with the Lightning who have played 3 more games than the Avs. The Panthers have only 2 points more than they do and also played 3 games more.
The Avalanche will probably win this game and to get any value on them it has to be in regulation. But the Avs have played 13 games this month and 6 of them needed extra time. With that being said I have to skip this game.
