Alright now that the all-star game is over it’s time to move onto the home stretch of the season.
Can anyone catch the Lightning in the standings? The have a 13 point lead over the Islanders in the Eastern Conference. Can the Flames keep up their strong play and stay in 1st place in the West. Some many questions left to be answered this is when things get good.
The Metropolitan Division won the All-Star game and Crosby was named MVP thanks to the 5 points he gained during the final. I hope he can find a place in his trophy room for yet another.
After the break we only have 2 games scheduled. And with the slow night we have only one tip.
Jets vs Flyers Betting Tips:
The Jets lost their last game 4-2 to the Stars but had won 4 in row before that. The Flyers have won 3 in a row and you have to wonder if the break is going to hurt them or help them.
The last time these teams played each other it was on Decemeber 9th and the Jets won 7-1. The Flyers have climbed out of the Eastern Conference basement thanks to the win streak but have only a point point cushion at the moment. The Jets should look at this game to get back to winning and to extend their lead in the Central Divison.
