We had the Hurricanes to beat the Rangers and they did winning 4-0. Andersen picked up his first shutout of the season.
The Sabres pounded the Bruins 7-2 with Thompson and Peterka both scoring hat tricks. The Stars beat the Knights 4-3 with Johnston scoring the natural hat trick including the OT winner, the Caps beat the Flames 3-1.
The Isles beat the Avalanche 5-2, the Jets beat the Habs 4-1 and the Hawks beat the Lightning 4-1 with Bedard scoring a beauty from a crazy angle.
5 games for us tonight.
Flyers vs Devils
They just played each other so I’m passing.
Wild vs Leafs
Wild are 4-6 in last 10 and on the road they have gone 18-5-3.
The Leafs are 5-5 in last 10, on a 2 game losing skid and are 19-10-0 at home.
They played once this season and that was back in November where the Wild won 2-1 in overtime.
The Leafs have better numbers in CF, CA, SF/60, SA/60 and in both goals for and against and expected goals for and against.
With the Wild without Kaprizov I like the Leafs chances and when looking at the data it does supports that so that’s what I’m doing.

Kings vs Panthers
Kings are 4-5-1 in last 10, on 2 game losing skid and 11-12-5 on the road. They have lost their last 3 road games.
The Panthers are 5-4-1 in last 10 games and have gone 13-9-2 at home.
These teams played a week ago and it was the Kings winning 2-1.
They are pretty even in the data. The Kings have that amazing home record which makes it hard to bet against them when they are on the road knowing what they are capable of. I’m passing.
Canucks vs Predators
Still avoiding games with the Canucks which works out well as they Preds are another team I stay away from so an easy pass for me here.
Penguins vs Utah
Pens on a 3 game skid. They are 3-7-0 over last 10 and 8-14-5 on the road.
Utah is 4-6-0 over last 10, on a 2 game skid and are 8-11-4 at home.
They played each other back in November and Utah won that game 6-1.
With both on losing skids I’m going to pass on this game.
