Well a slow day yesterday with only 3 games. And by the number of goals in a couple of the games, maybe the teams were nursing a New Years hangover.
The Winter Classic took place at Notre Dame Stadium and the Bruins beat the Blackhawks 4-2. I know these games look great and a pile of people show up for them but there are so many of them now that it’s not as exciting as they once were. Plus when these games count towards your points in the standings it would really suck if you were to miss out on the playoffs by a point and you took part in an outdoor game. Just my opinion.
I had went with Over 5.5 in the Flyers vs Predators game but it stayed under when the Preds won 4-0. The Flyers are slumping losing 4 in a row and are now in 8th place in the Metropolitan division.
The other game of the night was the Kings vs the Knights and the Knights won 2-0. This was Fleury’s league leading 6th shutout of the year. Pirri scored again for Vegas and now has 6 goals and 8 points in 7 games this season.
A better night of hockey for us today with 6 games. Unfortunately I could only come up with 2 tips.
Flames vs Red Wings Betting Tips:
The Flames have had a good year and find themselves in 1st place in the Pacific.
The Wings, like they have for much of the season, are slumping losing 5 in a row.
The Flames are coming off of a win in their last game, an 8-5 win against the Sharks, and I don’t see them slowing down for this one against a bad Detroit team.

Oilers vs Coyotes Betting Tips:
Both teams are struggling right now and maybe the calandar changing years will snap that for them.
The Oilers have lost 6 in a row and have allowed at least 4 goals in each of those games. The Coyotes lost their last game and have gone 4-6 over their last 10.
Tough to call a winner for this game and both havent given us anything to be excited about. But with both struggling one team has to win here. Anytime McDavid plays theres potential for goals and when it’s against a struggling team I like this to be high scoring.
