A 2-0 winning night last night.
We had the Panthers to win and they delivered with ease, with a dominating win over the Buffalo Sabres. It’s really cool watching the Panthers at the moment. Team chemistry is at an all time high. There are a lot of Jagr haters out there but he is just the type of guy the Panthers need. A lot of fun watching them.
We also had Over 5.5 in the Stars/Rangers game. The New York Rangers got a huge 6-2 win over Dallas as they look to recapture their form and move to the top of the Metropolitan division.
We had Over 5 goals in Blackhawks vs Penguins but that was a push ending at exactly 5 goals.
There’s just 5 games in the NHL tonight but a lot of good action. It all kicks off with the Devils taking on the Habs and still no news on Carey Price and his return. The sooner, the better obviously.
The Blackhawks take on the Penguins again – this time in Chicago.
The night will end with 3 late games – Blues vs Avs, Canes vs Canucks and Leafs vs Ducks.
Canadiens vs Devils Betting Tips:
It’s not been the best run for the Montreal Canadiens, but I like them to get a win tonight against the New Jersey Devils.
The Devils will be without Cammalleri again and that’s a big loss. You really saw him missing against Detroit and they will be hoping he can come back because their firepower is lacking elsewhere.
The key thing for the Habs is the return of Brendan Gallagher. We’re seeing a lot of life in them at the moment. Their last two games he has looked great and the offense is clicking. At home as well – we like the Habs to get a solid win tonight.

Blackhawks vs Penguins Betting Tips:
We’re never a fan of the “backups in goal = over” rule that some people have when it comes to betting. There’s a lot more to it than that – you need to look at how a team plays with a backup, who they have played against, when they have utilized him etc.
In this one it’s looking like both Zatkoff and Darling will be in net. Neither seems to be confirmed – but it’s already 1:30pm EST and we know many of you are waiting for todays tips.
So we’ll say Over 5 goals and are basing that on both backups being in. You may want to wait to confirm they are though like we will be.

Ducks vs Leafs Betting Tips:
This one is actually quite a tricky one because although the Ducks have looked solid lately – a lot of it is due to their special teams. Take away their PK/PP units and you have to wonder how many of those tight games they would have won.
However they returned from a successful road trip to hammer the Winnipeg Jets on the 3rd. They have momentum on their side and going up against a Leaf team who will be scared to give up penalties.
I like what I’ve seen from the Leafs lately. But I just can’t stray from the Anaheim Ducks tonight – who you’d have to expect can continue their form – even if Bernier has been able to pick up a few wins lately.

Great job yesterday boys. Question on the Habs/Devil game: Normally I would take the Habs without a question but they are b2b away-home and that travel can make a big difference. Plus Condon who isn’t a sure thing is going up against Schneids who has gone 1-0-1 with a 1.89 GAA and .932 SV% in their first two games. Missing Cammy is huge for the Devils but they scored 3 without him vs Dallas. I’m only getting -150 for Habs ML so does it make sense for me to make this bet?
At that price – probably not. We’d actually got on at 1.80 odds earlier today for the Habs. But we were waiting for the Hawks odds/goalie announcement before posting the tips and they dropped drastically. At 1.71 it’s razor thin so at -150 yeah I might pass.
thanks! I really don’t love any of the ML odds with today’s games, but I’m see o/u 5 on all the games with a 25.5 (bookmaker) salami so I’m going to do a 2U 2-way parlay with over on all games and placing 3U bet on over salami.

Since Nov 25th, the 3rd & 4th lines have scored 8 goals for a combined 13 pts & prior to that 27 goals for a combined 63pts. Schneider has given up 3 goals in his last 5 games which makes the Habs total goals under 2.5 at -125 look appealing versus Habs to win. Love the Habs and the little ‘energizer bunny’ Gallagher & hope they come through for you.:) Good luck tonight!

Also, VAN-CAR and ANA-TOR go to OT. Canucks game ot odds are 4.2, ridiculously good in my opinion.
Fun stat: Ducks won their last meeting against the Leafs, but before that they had lost 6 straight games against Toronto, and all this when the Ducks were mostly a top team and the Leafs were terrible.
