A good day yesterday. Not only of action but we won our only tip too.
I had the Jets to win in regulation against the Stars and they did 5-1. The Stars scored first in this one but the Jets scored the next 5.
The Blackhawks beat the Penguins 5-3 ending the Pens win streak at 8 games. The Hurricanes won their 4th in row when they beat the Sens 5-4 pushing the Sens losing streak to 8 games. The day after getting shutout by the Kings the Oilers responded by shutting out the Ducks 4-0. This was Talbots first shutout of the year.
Well its business as usual here today. Two of my kids went back to school after the Christmas Break and it’s so quiet here that my youngest will actually get a nap today. There are 5 games scheduled.
Wild vs Canadiens Betting Tips:
This is a game that could go either way. The Wild have owned the Habs recently winning the last 8 in a row against them including the last one 7-1. The Habs responded to that loss by winning 7 of their next 10.
But the Wild seem to have found their footing lately. They have won 3 of their last 4 games and now get to take on a team who they have had success against. Montreal should come out in this game with a better effort then in their last game but its the results from the last 8 games against the Wild that has me not liking their chances in this one.

Kings vs Sharks Betting Tips:
The Kings are hoping their last game, a 4-0 win against the Oilers, will give them momentum moving forward as they try to salvage what has been a disaster of a season so far.
San Jose has gone 6-2-2 over the last 10 including winning the last 2 in a row. The Sharks last 6 games have been high scoring with game goal totals of: 7, 9, 13, 11, 6 and 7.
I like the Sharks chances to win but the odds for that are terrible. With the Kings picking up a shutout in their last game they could make a game of this so I’ll avoid picking a winner and go with the Over instead.
