A busy night last night. We had 2 tips and went 1-1.
We had the Islanders to beat the Devils and thankfully we went with them winning including OT/SO. The Isles won 4-3 in overtime. Devils goalie Mackenzie Blackwood was already fightning an illness and then took a slapshot to the mask which caused him to bleed in the 2nd period. He finished the game but didn’t talk to the media afterwards as he was getting some repairs to fix the damage caused from a hard shot to the mouth.
The loss of the night was my tip of the Blackhawks to beat the Flames. The Hawks were up 1-0 after the 1st but then Lindholm scored twice in the 2nd for the Flames and held on for the 2-1 win. This was Lindholm’s 500th NHL game and he reached 300 career points with the two goals.
The Red Wings beat the Habs 4-3 which for Montreal was their 7th straight loss. The Red Wings are comfortably in last place in the league having won only 11 games this year. 3 of those wins have came against the Canadiens
Kovalchuk had 2 assists in his 2nd game with the Habs.
The Canucks vs Lightning game was just the 2nd time in NHL history that two teams played against each other riding win streaks of at least 7 games. The Lightning scored 6 times in the 2nd when they destroyed the Canucks 9-2
We have a slower night tonight with only 3 games.
Stars vs Kings Betting Tips
The Stars have won 4 games in a row and sit in 3rd in the Central Division. The Kings have lost 2 straight and are in last place in both the Pacific Division and the Western Conference.
The Stars have been scoring during this win streak scoring 4 each in their last 3 games. The Kings have allowed 4 in both of their losses.
This is a rare Over/Under of 5 and with the way the Stars and playing and scoring and the Kings allowing goals I’ll go with the over
Over 5 including OT/SO – 0.5u

The Caps have won 3 in a row, the Flyers have lost their last 4. Will the Flyers home record (13-2-4) carry them to a win or will the Caps win their 4th straight?
