The Western Conference final sees the Vegas Knights go up against the Winnipeg Jets. The Jets have home ice advantage in this series – although based on the way they performed in Nashville, they probably don’t need it.
The Jets go into this series as decent favourites but not super heavy – the Knights are gaining a lot of respect and it’s standard home ice advantage odds at this stage.
This is sure to be a thrilling series. In the regular season series, the Knights won 2-1. They won 5-2 and 3-2 and then lost 7-4.
Here are our thoughts on the Western Conference Finals:
Jets vs Knights Series Betting Tips:
Scott: And now we are down to 2 in the West.
The Jets have no real weaknesses. They added Mason to become their goalie but Hellebuyck was there when Mason failed, as he has done throughout his career, and put together an amazing, Vezina worthy season.
Fleury doesn’t get enough credit. Sure the Knights are a skilled and fast team but Fleury has been incredible during the postseason with a .951 save percentage, 1.53 GAA and 4 shutouts. It’s funny as Fleury can still accomplish a three-peat with the Penguins eliminated.
This is going to be an amazing series. The Knights are well rested but the Jets just beat out the league leading Preds so that is going to be a huge boost moving forward. And having home ice is going to help the Jets too. The home fans and the whiteout is intimidating for any team not named the Jets. This is going to be a blast to watch.

Graeme: I’d correctly called the Jets to win the series against the Preds which was nice – however I made a major faux pas when I did my Game 7 tip of the Preds. I completely blanked on the Jets ability to bounce back.
That’s something that made us a lot of money during the regular season and given the chance in the playoffs, they’ve showed it continues.
The Jets are a team that can bounce back strong and that is bad news for anyone playing them. It means if they take the lead in the series then it’s effectively over as the Jets will always bounce back if they take a loss.
I’d love to be able to go with the Knights here. I’ve been cheering them before the season began. I made so many bets with friends where I took Knights over 30 wins for the season. To be honest I did that just for fun as I didn’t expect them to do so well but I’ve fell in love with the team this year. It’s at the point where I actually declare myself as a Knights fan as opposed to a Habs fan these days.
But I just think this is the end of the road for them. The Jets are a damn fine team and are very hard workers. Plus surely Fleury can’t keep this up.
