Momentum was on the side of the Tampa Bay Lightning. They opened the game right away with a goal and ended the 1st period up 2-0 before coming in fast and furious in the 2nd period with another.
The Capitals did pull a couple of goals back but it wasn’t enough. It makes for a very interesting Game 6 in Washington.
For today we head to Winnipeg where the Jets host the Golden Knights. The Knights are just one win away from the Stanley Cup Finals.
They currently lead the Winnipeg Jets 3-1 in games after winning both games in Vegas. However the Jets won in Winnipeg and have won three straight now going into this one.

Scott: Well the Knights are 1 win away from making the Stanley Cup finals. The Knights and their fans have waited a long time for a Finals appearance and could have that happen after today. Their fans have suffered for what seems like forever and it’s nice to see them have a chance to see some success for a change. Oh wait. No they haven’t waited at all. This is the Knights first season.
The Knights have found a way to answer the Jets after each goal it seems. Four times during this series the Knights have responded to the Jets scoring by answering within 90 seconds. For the Jets to have a chance at pushing this to 7 games they need to find a way to handle the Knights push back.
With the Jets at home I like at least a good effort from them and hopefully we get a game 7

Graeme: My strategy at the moment is to not even think about the game – just look at the odds and hope something jumps out at me.
For this one the Knights are a decent price at around 2.20-2.25 and I’m fine with backing them. The Jets need their biggest effort yet however they’ve had big efforts already in this series and it hasn’t mattered – the Knights have stuck with them every step of the way and have performed well.
I’m good with 0.5u on the Vegas Golden Knights to win incl OT.
