For this article we will go over some player props for the Blackhawks vs Oilers series.
This will be a player vs player prop. It could be a player from the Oilers vs a player from the Blackhawks or players from the same team and who between those two players will get more points during the series
These props are available at Sports Interaction which is Canadian only.
I haven’t seen any other sportsbooks covering player props at this time. However no doubt closer to the NHL season some will and you can use this as a reference guide if you’re not Canadian.
Blackhawks vs Oilers Player Props
For these props, two players are listed with their odds. Which of the two players listed will score more points.
McDavid 1.91 vs Draisaitl 2.55
Sure McDavid is the best player in the league and on the planet so he is the favorite here.
But Draisaitl had an amazing season and showed he can put up points without McDavid.
This season Draisaitl scored 110 points in 71 games played. McDavid had 94 points in 64 games played.
McDavid played against the Hawks 11 times over his career scoring 10 points. Draisaitl has played the Hawks 15 times scoring 17 points.
With the season he had, I’m going with the underdog here Draisaitl to score more points in the series against the Hawks for 2.55 odds.
Toews 3.80 vs Draisaitl 1.43
This one is not really a question. Toews doesn’t put up the most points and most of the things he does great don’t show up on the score sheet.
But this series could go either way. If the Hawks catch fire and go on a run then Toews could be a huge part of that. The chemistry he has with Kane is amazing. He has also had success against the Oilers playing them 43 times and scoring 42 points. He also puts up good numbers when playing in the postseason putting up 110 points in 128 games.
This one is tough to call but Toews for 3.80 might be worth the risk more so of you like the Hawks chances to win the series. Draisaitl should put up more points but even a half unit on Toews to score more is worth it.
Strome 2.35 vs Kassian 2.35
Strome has been a good player since arriving in Chicago. He put up 51 points last season in 58 games. This year his numbers were down scoring 38 in 58 games but the whole team except Kane had a down year.
Kassian had his best offensive season of his career this year scoring 34 points in 59 games played. He has never been known for his offensive prowess so I don’t expect him to do much in the playoffs.
Strome for 2.35 odds to score more than Kassian in the opening round is my tip.
