Well we hope you followed Graemes bet last night. He tipped exactly 6 goals in the Lightning/Caps game and that one came in at 4.75 odds! Big thanks to Cirelli for the most exciting empty netter of the season thus far!
The Lightning now tie up the series 2-2 and all of the Capitals hard work has gone to nothing. They’re right back where they started and it makes for a very good game 5. Will the Capitals continue to win in Tampa? Or will the Lightning take the momentum and run with it?
Going to be a good one.
But that’s for tomorrow. Today we have Knights vs Jets Game 4. The Knights are up 2-1 in the series and this game takes place in Vegas.
The Knights are an incredible team but there’s no doubt that they have got this far due to the heroics of Marc-Andre Fleury. The guy has been in absolutely spectacular form all throughout the playoffs and just gets better every single game.
Going to be a hell of a game tonight.
Jets vs Knights Game 4 Betting Tips:
Scott: Fleury and the Knights have looked great winning the last two games the last in Winnipeg. Marchessault scored twice in both of those victories.
With game 4 still in Vegas it’s a huge game for both teams. The Knights can take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series and are still at home. The Jets can turn this into a best of three game series and regain home ice advantage with a win today.
Just so much pressure for both teams in this one that I’ll avoid a tip and instead sit back and enjoy what’s going to be another great game.
No Tip
Graeme: I backed the Jets on the bounce back in Game 3 but it didn’t come in. I didn’t feel too bad about it as it was just one of those things. Marchessault scoring within just 35 seconds is something you can’t really factor in and it changed the game right off the bat. Fleury had some amazing saves. Just one of those bets that didn’t work out.
Overall I liked what I saw from the Jets and I feel this is a real 50/50 game. Unfortunately the odds have the Jets at about 2.00 so yeah – no value to be had there.
The over/under has moved to 5.5 for this game from the usual 6. I get that. 2 of the 3 games have hit 6 but one relied on an empty netter and the other one came quite close as well.
I’m tempted to go with the over but I think for me I’m going to wager 0.5u on the 1st period being the highest scoring period. 4.50 odds for that prop. It’s Game 1 saw 4 of the 6 goals scored in the 1st. Game 2 saw 2 of the 4. The game in Vegas only had the one but I think that early goal really changed the outlook of the 1st period.
Bet that at Bet365 (Americans: We recommend http://www.bovada.lv. Not sure if there is anywhere that Americans can bet it – Bovada maybe. They don’t have all of tonights props listed at the time of this posting.
