It was a spectacular display in Vegas last night – both from the pre-show and the team themselves.
Another scintillating performance from Marchessault who scored twice as the Knights won 4-2. It was a tight one but after going up 1-0 in just 35 seconds that helped shift momentum the Knights way. The Jets did what they could in the 3rd period but just couldn’t get that goal to tie it up.
The Knights lead that series 2-1 now and Game 4 is on Friday.
Tonight we turn our attention to Lightning vs Capitals Game 4. Washington won both games in Tampa but in Game 3, the Lightning got the all important win.
This has been a very interesting series and it should be a good game tonight.

Scott: The Lightning picked up a huge victory in game 3 and avoided going down 3-0 to the Caps. Stamkos, Kucherov and Hedman combined for 7 points and they will need them to continue that as the look to even the series tonight in Washington.
The Caps knew they weren’t going to sweep the series against a strong Bolts team. But they can’t afford to lose both games at home, lose home ice and go back to Tampa Bay for a best of 3 series.
I expect a big game from Ovechkin and company in this one

Graeme: From an individual game basis it’s becoming extremely hard to pick bets at this point. Generally it’s a case of looking for one outstanding point and sticking with it. For example last night – Jets bounce back ability plus the odds was enough for me to bet on that game. Game 3 in this series was more just being aware of Tampas record in Washington and that home ice isn’t really a big factor for the Caps in the playoffs.
It’s hard to really find anything for this game though. Tampas odds have diminished to the point that I don’t feel good betting them and the over/under seems more likely to push than anything else at this rate.
So hey that’s what I’ll go with – Exactly 6 Goals in this game by the end of regulation time. Just 0.5u. Gives me something fun to cheer for in this game.
