It was a good day for us yesterday as we had 3 tips and went 2-1.
We had over 6 in the Flyers vs Islanders game and this came through for us when the Flyers won 5-2. Big win for the Flyers but they still have their work cut out for them as they are 5 points behind the Blue Jackets who are in 8th.
Our 2nd win was the Knights to win in regulation against the Canucks. The Knights scored 5 times in the 1st and won 6-2. Mark Stone scored his first goal as a Knight.
Our loss was the Sabres to beat the Avalanche. The scoring didn’t start until 3 minutes into the 2nd and that MacKinnon goal proved to be the game winner when the Avs won 3-0. The Sabres only took 18 shots so it was an easy day at the office for Grubauer who recorded his 2nd shutout of the year.
Our clocks went ahead early this morning so its like we lost an hour of sleep but gained an hour of daylight. I think its worth the trade off as I hate it getting dark at 5pm. Next up we just need to lose the snow. Baby steps but we will get there.
We have 5 games for us today. I’m having a tough time coming up with a tip for the games today.
The Bruins – Pens game is going to be a good one. I wanted to take the Bruins who have 19 game point streak going for them but its the Penguins and they are just barely holding onto a playoff spot and its getting late in the season. I decided to avoid it.
Another one is the Golden Knights vs the Flames. Knights playing well at the moment winning 6 in a row while the Flames have lost 4 straight. The Flames losing steak has dropped them into 2nd in the Pacific so they should show up for this one. But I cant fully get behind either team so it’s another game I’ll avoid.
Jets vs Capitals Betting Tips:
The Jets last game was on Friday where they pounded the Hurricanes 8-1. But they have been struggling of late going 4-5-1 over their last 10.
The Caps are 8-2 over their last 10 and have won the last 6 in a row.
This is a game that could go either way but with the way the Caps have been playing I have to back them. If the Jets look anything like they did on Friday as win then so be it. But the Caps are great at home and on that streak so I have to follow that.
