Unfortunately while the Devils racked up 39 shots in regulation yesterday, they were unable to get the goals needed to go over the team goals. Kuemper won the star of the night in that game.
In saying that, their xG was slightly below 4 at the advanced metrics sites so not a great night for the Devils offense.
Habs did come very close last night and the Rangers needed a shootout to win. Leans looked good, and glad I dodged that bullet with the Preds.
The Stars/Sabres over was one of those leans and man that game was crazy. Like I said yesterday the Sabres defensive and goalie metrics are very poor but goddamn I didn’t expect that.
Quiet Friday.
Panthers vs Blackhawks:
Panthers coming off the Knights victory. Some decent defensive performances last few games. Blackhawks had that crazy Sens game but other than that not doing so well.
Bookies have Panthers as just STUPID favourites. 1.52 odds for -1.5 I thought that was a joke at first. The only thing that would indicate the Panthers cover that is their xGF and CF. They’re creating the chances, just not taking advantage of them.
They came up against similar metrics against Pittsburgh and won 4-1 so like I can see it for sure. But -2.5 is only 1.86 that is just not worth it to me.
Flames vs Ducks:
Another lopsided game. Like I have said before the problem is the Flames offense sometimes just goes to sleep. Anyway -1.5 isn’t even at our 1.70 threshold so an easy no bet.
An easy, easy night to take off.
3rd Period OVER 1.5: Flames/Ducks
Parlay bait: To WIN moneyline: Flames
Lean: full game OVER 5.0: Flames/Ducks
Tough going today with such low odds. The Panthers this season have been very risky, and if they let off the gas a little because it’s “only Chicago”, the Hawks can rally here. I don’t feel confident in Florida in many situations, so no bets on this game.
I’ll only take the Flames moneyline if I can blend it into a parlay. NCAAB? AHL? Soccer? Flames are in a good run of better composure and getting timely goals. Few injuries and a group focus on mission, this is a good situation. However, can’t take a regular “Over” bet because the Ducks have avoided the penalty box more lately and so scoring may gravitate to a 5 and stop. Flames have only won on the Puckline once in their last 10 games, so can’t take that option.
I understand if you say that Panthers have been risky. It’s fair.
But below saying that the Flames are in “good” run and on a mission. LOL. This has been one of the crappiest “bigger teams” all season long. The Cats are in better form and with better focus on a mission. The Flames are SO cold!
Guys, do you have a website for stats where we can see trends of the most in-form players for the past 5/10 rounds? For goals or points?
Natural Stat Trick offers that up. Game log for every single players metrics etc.
