Another night of great results with the tips as we went 2-0.
First we had over 6.5 in the Lightning vs Maple Leafs game and the Lightning won 6-2. The Lightning came out swinging in this game scoring the first 4 goals and not looking back.
Our other tip was over 6.5 in the Coyotes – Blackhawks game. The Hawks went over by themselves winning 7-1. Big game from Perlini who scored his first career hat trick against his former team.
The Sharks beat the Wild to regain first spot in the Pacific Division. The Canes beat the Avalanche 3-0 and with the win the Canes moved into a tie with the Pens for 3rd place in the Metro with the Canes having the tiebreaking advantage. The Flyers beat the Sens 3-2 and have moved a step closer to the playoffs with 76 points which is 3 points behind the Jackets who hold the 8th spot in the East. Speaking of the Jackets, they lost to the Isles 2-0 and are tied with the Habs but have the tie break advantage.
For today we have 8 games. Its only a matter of time until more teams have clinched or been eliminated and the playoff picture becomes clearer. So far its only the Lightning who have clinched and the Sens who have been eliminated.
Capitals vs Penguins Betting Tips:
This used to be the cant miss game whenever they played. Crosby vs Ovechkin, sure there are some younger players who have taken their spots as the best players to represent the league but make no mistake these two are still some of the best to ever play the game and still productive stars and will for sure be in the hall of fame when their NHL careers are over. These teams have combined to win the last 3 Cups.
The Caps have won 7 in a row and will be looking to extend their lead in the Metro. The Pens currently sit in the first wildcard spot.
I’m a little nervous about this tip but I cant seem to talk myself out of it. Its the #7 vs #5 ranked offenses and both are in the bottom half in goals against per game.

Bruins vs Jackets Betting Tips:
The Bruins had their 19 game point streak snapped by the Penguins in their last game and will be looking to get back on track in this one.
The Jackets need points as they are falling in the standings. They sit in the final spot in the East playoff picture but the Habs are right there with them.
This is the first meeting of these teams this season. The last 3 games between these teams were high scoring ones with the Jackets winning two of them and the goal totals hitting 9, 9 and 7.
With the Bruins looking to bounce back and the Jackets needing all the points they can I like this to be a high scoring game

Stars vs Sabres Betting Tips:
The Stars are hanging onto their playoff spot but just barely. They are in 7th in the West but only 2 points ahead of 9th.
The Sabres are in the 12th spot in the East and 10 points behind 8th. They have a long way to go to get back in contention and will have to do so without their best player. Eichel has been suspended for two games for his hit on Soderberg on Saturday night.
The Stars need points and get to play a team on a 4 game losing skid who are without their best player.
