That was a hell of a night of hockey again last night, and we were lucky to come out with a win.
We had the over 6 in the Penguins/Rangers game and it really didn’t look like it was going to happen. After a goalless 1st half the Pens took a 2-0 lead into the 3rd.
Luckily the 3rd period was what I expected most of the game to be like as the Rangers turned up finally, and they won 4-3 which gave us the W.
Some great games last night with the Leafs blowing a lead only to come back and win. Sharks had to fight hard for their victory over the Oilers and the Ducks got a solid W over the Canucks.
It’s Thursday, March 15th and we’ve got 9 games on the board today.
Capitals vs Islanders Betting Tips:
I think the Islanders are worth a small play here at the price.
They’ve beaten Washington the last 3 times here and from the looks of things, they still think they have a chance at the playoffs.
It’s a very slight chance but you have to figure that sort of thing will keep them fighting and battling for every puck against an incredibly inconsistent Capitals team.
There’s no confirmation yet on who will be in net for the Islanders but after analyzing it I really don’t think it matters ha. This game’s just got that “can go any way” vibe to it that I’m fine with getting the better side of a coinflip.

And unfortunately that’s it for tonight. Some plays I was considering but didn’t go with:
Kings in Reg – Kings need to win games like this as every game is important for them. However they’re looking desperate out there and that doesn’t bode well all the time. I just think looking at their recent games you just can’t count on them at those odds. They’re not handling the pressure well.
Penguins – I’d expect a more professional performance from them tonight but the odds are horrendous considering the Habs recent performances at home.
Blackhawks – The Jets are in a bit of disarray at the moment with all the injuries but returning home could see them put in a big effort. I do think there is value on the Hawks and will probably bet it myself but can’t advise it.
