The Bruins stopped the Flames win streak at 10 when they won 5-2. The Bruins are in 3rd in the Atlantic, 5 points ahead of the Lightning. The Flyers shutout the Penguins 4-0. The Flyers are in 11th in the East but only 5 points out of the playoffs.
The Avalanche beat the Red Wings 3-1. The Avalanche are eliminated from the playoffs and the Red Wings are in 2nd last in the East 14 points out. Their consecutive playoff streak looks all but finished. The Ducks beat the Blues 2-1. The Ducks moved into 2nd in the Pacific thanks to the Flames loss, the Blues hold the 2nd and final wild card spot 4 points ahead of the Kings.
I have to keep these short today.
Bruins vs Oilers Betting Tips:
Both teams are in the playoffs but need to gain more points to guarantee a postseason.
They have played once this year and it was the Oilers winning 4-3. The Bruins last 2 games have been high scoring with totals of 7 & 9. The Oilers are coming off a 7-1 win over the Stars and are capable of going off for a pile every game.
With both teams needing points, I expect a good high scoring game in this one.

Stars vs Canucks Betting Tips:
These teams have some high scoring games in the past. Over the last 10 they have averaged 5.90 GPG.
The last game was low with a total of 3 but before that there were totals of 9, 6, 5, 7 and 7.
With both teams out of the playoffs by more than 10 points they both see this as a crucial game. And for that reason and their recent games I like this to be high scoring.

Jets vs Islanders Betting Tips:
The last 4 games between these teams have been won by the Islanders.
The Jets are 12 points out of the playoffs and come into this game on a 4 game losing skid. The Isles hold the final wild card spot but the Lightning are tied with them for points.
With their recent success against the Jets and their need to stay ahead of the Lightning I like the Isles chances in this one.

I’m a money line tipper and for tonight i pick the wild ML at 1.74. Wild are second best team in the league for goal scored vs 21st for the carolina. 4th for the goal allowed for the wilds againts 19th for carolina. Wild are simply the best team in every aspect of the game and that why i pick’em. GL
