Two tips yesterday and we went 1-1.
First we had the Blackhawks to win in regulation against the Canucks. The Canucks won 3-2 in OT. This game was 2-1 Canucks late in the 3rd where the Hawks scored to force OT but the Canucks only needed 16 seconds of OT to score and win it. With the Hawks getting a point from the OT loss and the Coyotes losing, Chicago is now 4 points back of a playoff spot.
Our win was our tip of the Jets to win in regulation against the Kings and they did 3-2. Big win for the Jets who extended their lead in the Central to three points over the Predators.
The Lightning beat the Coyotes 4-1 and with the win the Lightning clinched the Presidents Trophy which is given to the team with the most points during rhe regular season. Stamkos scored his 36th of the season and 384th as a member of the Lightning passing Vinny Lecavalier for most in franchise history.
The final game of the night was the Knights vs the Sharks in what could be a preview of whats to come. If the playoffs started today this would be a first round matchup. The Knights looked amazing and won with ease 7-3. This was the Knights 9th win in thier last 10 games.
A nice and full night of NHL action for us with 10 games. There are some big games today and its causing us to have problems coming up with tips. We did manage to have one tip though.
Capitals vs Devils Betting Tips:
The Caps had a 7 game win streak snapped when they lost to the Penguins, they answered that loss with a win against the Flyers then lost their last game against the Lightning. They seem to be able to bounce back and at this in the season thats going to help them as they push for 1st place in the Metro.
The Devils stink. They have gone 2-7-1 over their last 10. They have been eliminated from the playoffs and should now be looking ahead to the draft.
The Caps are tied with the Isles for top spot in the Metro so I expect a nice bounce back from them here. If they dont win the Metro then there is a chance they will be playing the Penguins in the playoffs again.
