There was 9 games yesterday.
Had the Sens to win against the Habs. This game was tied 3-3 with 10 minutes left in the 3rd but Montreal scored 4 unanswered and won 6-3. The Sens had their win streak snapped at 6 games here.
Also had the Jets to win in regulation against the Canucks but the Canucks won 6-2. With the Caps beating the Wings 4-1 and the Jets losing the Caps are now in 1st place overall.
Frustrating to have both teams I went with get pounded when the data pointed towards them.
The Blues picked up another win as they continue their push for a playoff spot. The Flames snapped their losing skid at 3 games with a 2-1 win over the Rangers.
A slow night with only 2 games.
Avalanche vs Leafs
Avalanche are 8-1-1 in last 10. They have won 2 games in a row and are in 3rd place in the Central. On the road they have gone 18-14-1.
The Leafs picked up a crucial win in their last game which was only their 2nd win in the last 7 games. This isn’t the time of year to go on a skid. They are in 3rd in the Atlantic and tied with the 2nd place Lightning.
This could go either way and I could make a case for each team.
Kraken vs Wild
The Kraken played yesterday against the Hawks and won
The Wild are still dealing with some key injuries. They are 4-5-1 in last 10 and 16-15-2 at home. They are in 7th place in the West and have a comfortable lead over the 8th place team.
With the Kraken playing yesterday I would give the advantage to Wild here. But again it’s the missing players that has me put off of tipping them. And I would have to take the Wild in regulation.
