No tips yesterday.
Graeme had said Bruins in regulation was his only real lean for the day. Well that was a good lean as the Bruins just destroyed the Sabres 7-0. It says something that the Bruins 2nd string goalie has 4 shutouts which has him tied for 2nd in the league. Ullmark leads the league in save percentage, wins and GAA. Just insane.
The Wild beat the Caps 5-2 and are 1 point back of the Stars for 1st place in the Central. The Knights beat the Jackets with ease 7-2 with Eichel scoring the hat trick.
The Rangers pounded the Predators 7-0 leading 6-0 after the 1st and the Blues beat the Jets 3-0. The Jets are in 8th in the West.
A slower night with only 5 games.
Senators vs Penguins
Tough game here for both teams.
The Sens have lost their last 5 and each loss makes their playoff hopes die a little more. They are currently 7 points back of the wild card.
The team they are chasing is the Penguins who are in the final wild card spot but have dropped their last 3. They are only 1 point ahead of the Panthers.
They played twice this season and both in January. The Pens won the last 4-1 and the Sens the first 5-4 in overtime.
With both teams needing wins I’m not sure who wins here.
Panthers vs Red Wings
The Panthers are 1 point back of the Pens who are in 8th. They are doing all they can to get there, winning their last 2 games and going 7-2-1 over last 10.
The Wings are basically out at this point. They are 9 points back and have gone 2-7-1 over last 10.
If the Panthers are to make a push for the postseason then they need to continue winning. With the Wings play of late the Panthers should win this game.

Blackhawks vs Avalanche
The Blackhawks are out of contention but continue to win games against strong teams. They have 3 wins this month beating the Preds, Sens and Bruins.
The Avalanche are in 3rd in the Central with 86 points. They are only 3 back of the Stars for top spot.
As expected the Avalanche are the big favourites here and would need to take them -2.5 for only 2.00 odds so I have to skip this.
Sharks vs Oilers
Another game where the odds are going to make it tricky to bet on.
The Sharks have lost 6 in a row and are 1-7-2 over last 10.
The Oilers have won their last 3 and are 7-3 over last 10. They are in 3rd in the Pacific.
I like the Oilers to win here and so do the sportsbooks. The played once this season and the Oilers won with ease 7-1. The only issue I have is the Sharks have had two of their last 3 games go to overtime.
Flames vs Kings
The Flames are in position to make the postseason but they have to be basically perfect from here on out. And they aren’t making it easy on themselves either going 4-3-3 over last 10. They are 4 points back of the Jets for 8th and 6 behind the Kraken for 7th.
The Kings are in 2nd in the Pacific, 2 points back of the Knights and 4 ahead of the Oilers.
In games against Pacific Divsion teams, both have gone 10-4-3.
The odds for this are a coin toss and I get it as I could see either team winning this game.
The obvious leans are a debate between moneyline or puckline for the Florida and Oilers games. Still reviewing Over/Under there too.
Both teams playing well and need points. Detroit not doing well recently, nor San Jose.
I’m off the Colorado game, the Avs have lost me money almost every time I’ve bet on them. Penguins nope. Flames are so inconsistent, no team bet, but looking at the OVER 6.0. Flames have the easiest remaining schedule between Calgary, Nashville, Winnipeg and Seattle. They aught to show up energized. Hah! Flames can do well even if they lose both remaining games against LA, as long as they clean up on lesser teams, but they haven’t all season, they’ve collapsed on offense. To win tonight would be a great help to the Flames, but then they’ve let so many similar situations evade them.
