We had one tip yesterday and it was a loss . We had the Bruins to win in regulation against the Canadiens but it went to overtime where they won 3-2.
The Wild shutout the Knights 3-0, the Avs beat the the Oilers 3-2 in overtime and the Preds beat the Ducks 6-3.
Well the Trade Deadline has passed and there was plenty of moves made.
Domi went to the Canes which could be a huge pickup as he has potential as long as he isn’t the guy leading his line and can be a great asset on a deep Canes team.
The Wild got Fleury then traded Kahkonen to the Sharks for Middleton. They already added Deslauriers so they are a tougher team now and have a great goalie who is money in the playoffs.
The Rangers grabbed Copp, Motte and Braun who all are great depth pickups for them. The Pens grabbed Rakell and Beaulieu which will give depth and when the Pens are fully healthy they are even more dangerous. The Avalanche got Lehkonen and Cogliano which makes that that much deeper and that helps in the playoffs.
With all the moves made its going to make the final 20 games exciting to watch as teams are now jockeying for playoff positions.

Blues vs Capitals Betting Tips:
The Blues are slumping at the moment going losing their last 3 and 7 of their last 9.
The Caps lost their last game but have gone 7-2-1 over last 10.
With the Blues struggling I would say it should be an easy win for the Caps but they have some key players out. Oshie, TVR, and Hagelin are out and Carlson may also be out after getting hit by Jamie Benn at the end of the game on Sunday. That’s a lot of players out and I have to skip.
Jackets vs Penguins Betting Tips:
The Jackets didn’t add anyone at the deadline and instead moved Domi. They are 5-3-2 over last 10 and their playoff hopes a quickly slipping away as they are now 13 points behind the 8th place Caps.
The Pens have won 2 in a row and are 7-2-1 over last 10. Rakell is going to be a big piece for them as he’s a center who can play wing but having Crosby. Malkin, Carter and Rakell down the middle is scary.
There is no value on taking the Pens here as the handicap is only 1.80. I do like them to win though but with the last game between them being a 3-2 Pens win I can’t back the -1.5.
Rangers vs Devils Betting Tips:
This will be the 3rd meeting for these teams with the Rangers winning the first 2. They have won their last 2 games and are 7-3-0 in last 10.
The Devils have lost 3 in a row and are 4-6-0 over last 10.
The Rangers are in 2nd in the Metro and added some good depth players at the deadline.
The Rangers are only 3 points back of the Canes for division lead and with the moves they made they are going to be pushing for top spot. The wins they have on this streak were against top teams the Lightning and the Canes. I like that to continue here.

Lightning vs Hurricanes Betting Tips:
This will be a good game. The Lightning are in 2nd in the Atlantic and the Canes are in 1st in the Metro.
The Lightning are 5-5 over last 10, the Canes have lost 4 straight and are 4-4-2 over 10.
I would like to say this should be a win for the Lightning with the Canes struggling but their losing skid will stop and at home agaisnt a top team could be a good spot to get back on track. They have a great home record of 23-5-3 and are the top ranked team in GAPG allowing only 2.37.
Flyers vs Wings Betting Tips:
Both teams are all but eliminated from the playoff picture.
The Flyers are 29 points back of the final wild card spot and the Wings are 23 out.
There really isn’t anything I like here. The Flyers are 4-5-1 over last 10, the Wings are 2-7-1. Just a game that’s easy to skip.
Sens vs Isles Betting Tips:
The Isles are 19 points back of the wild card, the Sens are 31. Like the game above this they are both basically eliminated.
The Isles are the favorites here and a regulation win is below our minimum and I can’t back them to win -1.5 with the way they have played this season.
Knights vs Jets Betting Tips:
I’m still not comfortable betting on a game with the Jets involved.
The Knights are slumping going 4-6-0 and are in final wild card spot in the West. They have 72 points in 65 games, the 9th place Stars have 71 points in 61 games. The Knights have to get their shit together and fast. Right behind the Stars is these Jets who have 68 points in 63 games.
Oilers vs Stars Betting Tips:
The Oilers are in 3rd in the Pacific but things are so tight in the West that a stumble and your back in the wild card.
The Stars are in 9th place and trail the Knights by only 1 point with 4 games in hand.
Both teams need all the points they can get so I expect this game to be a good one.
The Oilers are ranked 7th in GPG with 3.35 and 22nd in GAPG allowing 3.16. The Stars are 19th in GPG with 2.89 and 15th in GAPG with 2.95.
The Oilers last 4 games totals were; 5, 9, 7 and 12. The Stars last 5; 5, 6, 7, 4 and 11. I see enough there to go with the Over with both teams in need of points.

Sharks vs Flames Betting Tips:
The Sharks are in 7th in the Pacific and are 10 points back of the wild card spot. The Flames are comfortably in 1st in the Pacific with 84 points which is 8 more than the 2nd place Kings.
The Flames are the obvious favorites here and to get any value we need to take them to win -1.5.
They have played twice this season with the Sharks winning both so not a pile of confidence in the Flames winning by 2 or more. If the regulation odds were better then I’d be all over that but they are only 1.50 so I have to skip this one.
Kraken vs Coyotes Betting Tips:
No idea about this game. It’s the 30th and 31st place teams playing each other.
I have no idea who wins this game. I guess if I was forced to pick a team it would be the Coyotes as they have been better over their last 10 going 6-4-0 vs the Krakens last 10 where they have gone 3-5-2. But still I can’t find anything I like enough to make it a tip for this game.
Preds vs Kings Betting Tips:
Just like the Jets, I can’t tip a game that involves the Preds although they have been playing much better and consistently. They have gone 7-3-0 and won their last 2.
The Kings are in 2nd in the Pacific with 76 points in 64 games and the Oilers are right behind them with 75 in 63. The Kings are 5-4-1 over last 10 and will need to be better now that we are in the final stretch.
