We had two tips for yesterdays action and went 1-1.
First we had the Flyers to win in regulation against the Islanders. This was tied at 2-2 after 6 minutes into the 3rd but Josh Bailey scored twice, 1:23 seconds apart, to ice the game for the Isles. This broke Bailey’s 12 game scoring drought.
Our other tip was also our winning tip and it was the Habs to beat the Sabres in regulation and they did 7-4. The Sabres were leading 1-0 after the 1st but Montreal came back and bigtime outscoring the Sabres 7-3 over the 2nd and 3rd periods.
The Jets beat the Preds 5-0 and clinched a spot in the playoffs. The Bruins beat the Panthers 7-3 and are now the 2nd team from the East to clinch.
We have 5 games today with the first starting time at 12:30pm and the final game starting at 10:00pm so its a solid 12 hours of hockey for us to enjoy today.
I have to keep these short. We are going to watch my daughters last hockey game of the season and it starts soon so I apologize for the length of the writeups.
Flyers vs Capitals Betting Tips:
The Caps should be ready for this game. They hold only a one point lead over the Islanders for first place in the Metro. They looked tired in their last game when they lost 2-1 to the Wild. You can tell they really want 1st place in their division and turning in stinkers like their last effort isnt going to get them there.
The Flyers are 7 points out of the wild card and allowed two goals late in their game yesterday for the loss. They need a better effort if they want to get in.
These teams have played 3 times this year and the Caps have won all 3 scoring 5 goals in each win as each went over.
