We won our one unified tip of the night, as the St Blues -1.5 was a nice easy win as the Canucks got crushed by the Blues 4-0.
We also won both tips in the Islanders/Lightning game. We had Lightning in regulation and they did that with a big 3rd period to wipe out the Islanders. Hats off to the Islanders offense though who threw in a great fighting performance, helping us get that Over 5 with ease.
I expected a tough battle in the Caps/Devils game but I underestimated Wedgewood who had yet another excellent performance. I had went with the over in that one but some solid saves and a lack of SOG hurt that one, with the Capitals winning in overtime.
It was good to see a nice normal night in the NHL however with no freak results and all favourites winning.
It’s Saturday March 26th and we’ve got 14 bloody games on the card. You’d think that’d make the tips easier but it usually makes it more difficult – especially when there’s a bunch of bets where we feel exactly the same on. For example – we could easily make cases on all 4 home Canadian teams winning today and placing value bets. We’ve been going back and forth for hours on the games today.
Capitals vs Blues Betting Tips:
Elliott is being rested and Jake Allen is in net. While the Blues have beaten the Capitals twice last season neither time was with Allen in net. Allens recent games has saw him concede 5 against the Oilers, 4 against the Flames and 4 against the Stars. It’s possible he steps up big here and if he does then fair play to him. However Washington at home and they can clinch the Presidents Trophy here is some nice motivation.

Oilers vs Kings Betting Tips:
We’re obviously wary of upsets tonight. This month has been brutal for that – where teams that should be winning are getting destroyed. Kings have won 13 of the last 15 against the Oilers. They’re on a bad run with 3 losses on the road. I like them to bounce back strong here. They’ve been impressive at home with solid fighting performances. Kings have taken their foot off the gas after clinching a playoff spot but a team only does that for so long and I’ll take the Kings to get back on track tonight.

Underdogs of the Night:
With so many upsets lately I thought it would be fun to add a section where we look at who we feel are the underdogs of the night and give our reasoning as to why they’re probably worth a bet.
Flames: They beat Blackhawks last time out, and have thrown in a lot of good home performances lately. The Blackhawks are a team you just can’t really rely on. Hawks obviously really need to get a win being surrounded by teams that have clinched – but they’ve lost 6 of the last 7 games and look to be a mess.
Leafs: Leafs usually always give Bruins a strong game. Bruins are not looking good at the moment and the pressure is on them.
Senators: Haven’t been too impressed with the way the Ducks are playing at the moment and I feel Ottawa are ripe for an upset here.
Canadiens: The Habs have a tremendous record against the Rangers and based on the Habs win over the Ducks and blowout losses to the Sens and Flames they seem to be rising to the occasion.

Yeah as soon as they got that 2nd goal i was like “here we go”. Pens had the mental edge on that one, Detroit couldn’t handle the pressure.
If the Wings can’t even put up a solid fight vs Pens without Malkin & Maatta, they don’t deserve to get into the playoffs.

Im just debating between OT and Jackets regulation atm.. I’ve happened to watch a lot of BJ’s games lately and if they knew how to score goals they would’ve won most of them.
On the road, against overconfident superior opponent = perfect time to open the floodgates.
Also Korpisalo is a good goalie and can come up big.
