That was an eventful night of hockey. We didn’t have any tips for yesterdays action.
The Caps beat the Hurricanes 4-1 and now have a 3 point lead for top spot in the Metro. Ovechkin scored his 49th of the year his next goal will give him 50 and he would join Gretzky and Bossy as the only players to score 50 in 8 different seasons.
The Blue Jackets beat the Isles 4-0 and now sit only 2 points behind the 8th and final wildcard spot. The Habs beat the Panthers 6-1 eliminating Florida from the playoffs.
The Sens beat the Sabres 4-0, the Coyoyes picked up a huge win beating the Hawks 1-0 and the Ducks beat the Canucks 5-4. The Oilers pounded the Kings 8-4 and Nugent-Hopkins and Draisaitl both had hat tricks in this game.
The East has 6 teams eliminated from the playoffs while the West only has 1, the Kings. Its going to be a crazy finish to the year. There is only 11 days left of the regular season. It seems like the season just started but here we are.
A fairly slow night of NHL action for us with only 4 games. I have only one tip. Was looking at over in the Flyers – Leafs game but the O/U was 7 and after looking more at it I decided to avoid it. Also Stars vs Flames should be a good game but with the Stars in desperation mode I can’t back anything for that game. The other game is Rangers – Bruins and although I like the Bruins to win the odds are garbage for that with 1.83 the odds for Bruins -1.5. Just not worth it.
Golden Knights vs Avalanche Betting Tips:
The Knights were on fire losing only once over 11 games to now come into this game having lost 2 in a row. They need to snap that streak now and with the Sharks on a losing skid of their own they have a chance to gain ground on them. It looks as though the Knights and Sharks will play each other in the first round. The Knights are only 5 points back of the Sharks and they play each other on Saturday.
The Avalanche hold the 8th spot in the West but are tied with the 9th place Coyotes.
Should be a good game but I have to think the Knights will come away winners.
