Quick note that there will be no more 1st period tips for the rest of the season. I am the one that runs the system and I’m away for 10 days to Texas starting tomorrow for Wrestlemania weekend, and won’t have time to do them. By the time I’m back the season will be close to ending and so I’ve decided to wrap it up and study it over the Summer to see how it may affect things next season.
We’ve got another busy NHL schedule tonight with 9 games in play. The Red Wings managed to hold on to beat the Sabres and now they go to Montreal hoping to continue the misery on the Habs campaign this season. The streaking Minnesota Wild host the Chicago Blackhawks who have turned things around, and we’ve got a good game with the Bruins vs the Devils as well.
Let’s get to tonights betting tips:
Devils vs Bruins Betting Tips:
I can’t ignore the price on the New Jersey Devils here who are fairly big underdogs at home to the Boston Bruins. The Bruins have struggled a lot lately and are 1-5 with their lone win against the Leafs. I know the Bruins have a good record against the Devils(won last 6), Rask has a solid record against them and Devils are coming off that tough 3-2 loss against the Hurricanes – but that was a game that was decided early on. Maybe the Devils had too much confidence in Wedgewood there I don’t know.
This just feels like a game where the odds are more 50/50. I know the Bruins are an excellent road team, but Devils still have a lot to play for and I think can at least run this one close.

Penguins vs Sabres Betting Tips:
Penguins offense has been fairly impressive the last few games but their goaltending has been sloppy. Playing without pressure the Sabres are always up for games and are usually guaranteed some goals. Other than the Leafs 4-1 defeat, the last time they scored less than 2 in a game was March 1st against the Oilers. I like this one to have goals aplenty.

God damn it was unlucky night yesterday. This is just not the season for OT’s. Hopefully i can turn it around tonight.
Im with S&G on the Devils 100%. I went for them in regulation, 3.50 odds are crazy good. They can easily suffocate the Bruins who got all the pressure in the world to win this one.

Bruins(Team Total) ov2½ -117 – Kincaid is weak and Bs are happy to be on the road
Bruins/NJ Devils ov5 ev – shouldn’t be a problem between these two teams
Sharks(Reg 60 Min) -½ -112 – Pretty good odds considering how bad the Nucks are

dont agree with the devils here…boston has more to play for at this point since they went on that really bad losing streak. combine that with going up against kinkaid…i like boston here.

Over 5 you get your money back if the games ends up with 5 goals – that actually happens quite often.

I have accounts at both and highly recommend Sports Interaction especially for hockey wagers and ease of deposit/withdrawal options as well as their excellent mobile betting site if that’s what is important to you?
