We went 3-2 for a nice and profitable night last night, as we won all 3 of our 1u plays.
You know I often get asked by people for a “lock” or a “guaranteed winning play” and every time that happens I have to tell them that it’s hockey; it’s a very volatile and high variance sport where anything can happen and there’s no such thing as a lock.
But boy did that Jackets pick yesterday ever feel like one.
The interesting thing is I might come right back out tomorrow and pick the Flames. I’m considering it. Sometimes it’s the smallest thing that can turn a teams fortunes around and the Flames scoring with 22 seconds left on the clock to ruin Bobs shutout? That’s so freaking dickish and I love it.
Add that to the fact that their next game is the Battle of Alberta which they should be up for and It’s going to be an interesting one – will be very curious on the odds for that one.
Sad to see the Panthers lose and their playoff hopes are slipping away especially with the Devils getting a point. And with 6 games left the Panthers get to play the Bruins THREE freaking times – two of which are on the road. While the Devils have the Islanders, Habs and also play the worst road team in the NHL, the New York Rangers.
I’ll be cheering hard for the Panthers but I worry their playoff dreams are over.
Speaking of – it’s all about the West tonight with the Avs hosting the Blackhawks and the Kings and Ducks squaring off. And hey just a reminder to check out my buddy Vins MLB tips – he went 3-1 yesterday to start the season.
Lightning vs Rangers Betting Tips:
Rangers have been a good team to back with the over lately and we’ll jump right back on that tonight.
They’re scoring goals even when they’re losing and offensively they’ve been solid for most of the month.
Tampa have lost 3 in a row and while they’re finding it hard to really play for anything at the moment, I think 3 games in a row of losses will have them motivated for this one. They’ll want a better performance tonight.
The 2nd leg of B2Bs has been good for the over for the Lightning and we’ll go with this one to continue that trend.
