8 games yesterday.  Graeme had one tip and it was a win when he went with the Canes -1.5 against the Isles and they won 6-4.

The Habs picked up a huge win against the Panthers 4-2, it got a little chippy at the end so should make for a good game when they play again on Tuesday.

The Sabres beat the Caps 8-5 and Ovechkin scored leaving him only 5 away from passing Gretzky with 9 games left.  The Pens beat the Sens 1-0 in OT and for the Sens the 1 point in the loss helps.

4 games tonight.

Predators vs Flyers

Preds are struggling.  They have been eliminated from the postseason and have lost 2 games in a row.  They are 3-6-1 in last 10.

The Flyers have been playing well since they fired Tortorella.  They are also 3-6-1 in last 10 but have won their last 2 game and are in 15th in the East.  They are all but eliminated and are playing for pride at this point.

With them still riding the momentum of the coaching change and going off for 13 goals in the 2 games since I do like the Flyers here.  They have better CF, SF/60, SA/60 and GF/60.  They have a much worse GA/60 over the last 10 games but the XGA numbers are much better so they shouldn’t be allowing as many as they do.  Kind of a gut play but I think there’s enough to back it.

Flyers win incl OT/SO

Wild vs Devils

The Wild are in 7th in the West.  They are tied with the Blues who are in 8th.  They’re 5-4-1 in last 10.

The Devils are in 3rd in the Metro and are 5-4-1 in last 10.  They need to stay ahead of the Rangers who are in 8th but are 8 points back

These teams just played each other on Saturday so it’s an easy pass for me.

Flames vs Avalanche

The Flames still have a shot at the postseason.  They are 7 points back of the wild card spots and will need to play much better than they are to close the gap.  They are on a 2 game skid.  3 of their last 4 games went to overtime.

The Avalanche are in 3rd in the Central.  They are 7 points back of the 2nd place Stars and 6 ahead of the wild card teams.  They lost to the Blues on Saturday and that’s one of the teams that’s chasing them.

I like the Avs to win but it would have to be -1.5 and the Flames still have a shot at the postseason so they could, and should, make a game of this.

Stars vs Kraken

Stars are in 2nd in the Central and have a 7 point lead over the 3rd place Avs and are only 4 back of the Jets.  They are on a 5 game win streak and are 7-1-2 in last 10 and 21-14-2 on the road.

The Kraken have been eliminated from the playoffs.  They are 4-4-2 in last 10 and 17-16-5 on the road.  These teams just played on Saturday and the Stars won that game 5-1.

Would lean Stars but the data doesn’t support it enough for me as it would have to be in regulation.

im in line with you on this card… I keep going back and forth on the under @ 6.0, -110 for Avs game and cannot make up my mind, clearly I need to stay away from it of course.
