Oh Chicago Blackhawks.
When I was going over the games yesterday before actually doing tips, I was chatting to my friend about it who is a casual hockey fan. I was telling him that this is the type of game the Hawks mess up. It seems like a tradition for them the last couple of years and why I hate backing them.
I factored that possibility into the tips. The odds however and everything else just made it worth the bet I felt.
Then the Hawks just blew it like they always do. Amazing.
The Knights surprisingly got shut out as well by the Jets and that game didn’t go over. Brutal. The way that one started I thought it was going to be a nice and easy over too. Frustrating.
Let’s turn our attention to Saturday. I think the Pens/Caps game should go over but those games have been a bit iffy in regard to that and the way both teams are playing it’s a bit hard to back.
I’m off to the XFL today – Dallas Renegades! Can’t wait. I was super into the XFL when it started up 20 years ago. Never thought I’d have the chance to go to a game so I am super pumped that I get to do that. A real bucket list type goal.
Wild vs Kings Betting Tips:
Minnesota have been performing very well lately as they make a push for the playoffs. It’s very impressive and they are now at 59% chance to make the playoffs.
The Kings are embracing their spoiler role and are playing some good hockey. However I just like the Wild to take this one.
They have looked very convincing in their performances and will be well aware of the Kings and what they are doing. Kings have Cal Petersen in net.
I’d love to take Wild in regulation and think they will win there but with the way the Kings have been lately we’ll go with OT in there too.

Flyers vs Sabres Betting Tips:
I mean not much to write or analyze about this one. Flyers are a beast at home, are absolutely killing it at the moment, have a great run going etc etc.
Sabres looking bad.
I thought Philly looked excellent against Carolina. They look like they are really enjoying their hockey right now.
Hard to see anything but a Flyers win. Of course knowing my luck lately….

Rangers vs Devils Betting Tips:
This isn’t a game where the stats really jive with it too much but I like this game to go over.
Devils like I said yesterday are on a tear right now. They are playing good hockey and battling to win every game. A lot of the games have been low scoring games but I like them to be able to keep up with the Rangers here.
The Rangers showed a lot of fight in that Washingston game and Zibanejad is killing it right now. They increased their playoff hopes to 33% with the win over the Caps and I like them to continue that.
