It was a good night of hockey action last night with a lot of close games and quite a few big comebacks.
The Jets made it 4 in a row and finally ended the Taylor Hall point streak with a 3-2 win. Jets are looking damn good and Hellebuyck also had a great performance. Just yet another strong contender in the playoffs.
We won with the Panthers beating the Habs. Those are always nice. In a high variable sport like hockey, you back a team to win and feel strongly about it and they do so in a nice and easy fashion. What’s even better is Luongo stepped up to make 40 saves in that one. That’s the type of thing they need to get to the playoffs.
I find myself rooting for the Panthers at this point. Over the course of the season I’ve tipped them a decent amount and won on them and I’ve been loving their home performances for awhile now. Over the past few days I’ve been looking repeatedly at the standings and the remaining schedules, as I find I am rooting for them to grab a wild card spot.
We also won with a good value play on the Sabres who beat the Sens in a tight one. I’m still surprised the Sens were that high a favourite. That game went pretty much as I expected it would with it being very tight and that was a nice price.
Let’s get on with the tips tonight and keep the good times rolling:
Jackets vs Red Wings Betting Tips:
I mean this is similar to the Panthers one yesterday right? Jackets need to hold onto that wild card spot with still a strong chance of qualifying via the Metro. They had a tough match-up against the Avs last night who still have a chance in the Central.
The Red Wings were thumped last night at home to the Knights and you’ve got to think that will bring them down hard. With most other teams in the wild card race winning, I think they’ll be kissign their playoff hopes goodbye.
They DID raise their game againts the Bruins and the Jets recently but the Jackets will come off confident after last nights game, most likely have Bobrovsky back and I like them to do the business tonight.
