Two big results yesterday to help extend both playoff series.
The Oilers got a big 3-2 win at home to tie up that series and guarantee two more games at least.
The Boston Bruins got a solid 2-1 win over the Panthers. Think that early goal surprised the Panthers and wasn’t really impressed with their offense in that one.
Let’s look at the lone game tonight.
The Colorado Avalanche are on the brink of elimination.:

Scott: Well the Avalanche are going to be without Nichushkin as he has been banned for 6 months after failing a drug test. He was their leading goal scorer and one of the leaders in goals in these playoffs.
After the way this series has gone the Avs really couldn’t afford to lose him but it is what it is.
The Stars are up 3-1 and back at home where they can win this series. The Avs won the 1st game but the Stars have won the last 3.

Graeme: It’s certainly not looking good for Colorado.
This is the type of game where they absolutely 100% need to step up. I mean that’s obvious but with Nichuskin out etc they really need to come out with a chip on their shoulder.
In this series they just haven’t been creating the chances though. Dallas haven’t converted high danger goals like they should but have still did a great job of scoring.
The Stars odds are just too low for me, but I don’t know if I can roll the dice on Colorado. Looking at the game to game results there’s nothing jumping out at me. No Bet
To WIN puckline: Dallas
It’s a great year for the team called the Stars and just not happening for Colorado. It’s a team vs two superstars and the team is moving on to the next round. Puckline difference is highly likely.
