Well we hitched our wagon to the wrong horse yesterday. We backed the Blackhawks to win and offered a couple of additional bets if you agreed with that sentiment. Unfortunately it all went to pot as the Red Wings picked up a huge win against the Blackhawks.
It was one of those frustrating games where things could have easily went the other way. The Blackhawks were looking great, and completely dominated the start of the 2nd period where they should have at least picked up a PPG. Then the Red Wings turned things around with a brief spell of ridiculous domination to go up 2-0 and change the game completely.
There was also the frustrating Stalberg goal that was called off and really shouldn’t have been – then that absolutely ridiculous Datsyuk goal. That’s hockey. Sometimes things don’t go your way.

We’re sticking with the Sharks to take this series to 2-2, to go along with our initial prediction of this series going at least 6 games. The odds are quite nice at 1.74 – I’d expect a bit less on that one. Both these teams have did the business at home throughout the playoffs, and we expect San Jose to continue to do that. The Kings still look tired and ragged from the Blues series, and really if it wasn’t for Quick things would be a lot different.
