Welcome to the non-NHL tips for May 22nd.
Today we will cover action taking place tomorrow which is the Bundesliga, and All Elite Wrestling.
All Elite Wrestling is running Double or Nothing 2020, a year on from their first ever PPV which was Double or Nothing 2019. I was at that one in Las Vegas, and I had tickets for this event also taking place in Las Vegas.
Alas – the world went to hell in a handbasket and now instead of watching it drunk off my ass with friends in my favourite city of all time, I’ll be watching it at home on my couch while on zoom with my friends. Not quite the same.
Still – at least no-one will leave their seat and go poop in the concession area before returning to their seat in my house. Yes – that actually happened.
Man I am super pumped for all day Saturday sports and a couple of zoom sessions with friends and family. Gonna get druuuuuunk. If tips don’t show up on Sunday it’s because I am hungover as hell. That’s what happened last Sunday. Had 3 different zoom meetups with 3 different groups of friends and just got absolutely destroyed. Worth it.

AEW Double or Nothing 2020 Betting Tips:

I think Cody to win at 3.00 is worth a very small bet. I know he has a great history of putting guys over and Archer makes a lot of sense for winning this one. If Cody was 2.00 or even 2.50 I’d stay away but think this one is just worth a punt.
On the same wavelength, Jungle Boy at 4.50 is worth a small bet too. Just depends on whether they are going to go with MJF vs Mox or not. Either way worth a bet.
I like Inner Circle at 1.67. Similar to the whole tag teams should beat two singles wrestler guys; a complete stable should beat a thrown together team who have their own issues.

Bundesliga May 23rd Betting Tips:
Thought for this one I would go through all the games and offer quick analysis. As a reminder I’m on Both Teams to Score in the Berlin derby later today. If you want to see unit sizing you can see it over at BetSoccer.ca.
Monchengladbach vs Leverkusen: Both teams returned from the break in winning form with two strong “away” victories. Gladbach 3-1 over Frankfurt, Leverkusen 4-1 over Bremen. Last played in November where Gladbach came out 2-1 winners. Top of the table clash with Leverkusen in 5th and Gladbach in 3rd so should be a great game featuring two of the best offenses. Goals are expected to be scored here and it makes the odds for BTTS, over 2.5 etc poor. Reminder that both have solid defensive records too although clean sheet records are low. I’m conflicted on this one. I like both second half to have more goals at 1.90 based on when teams score, but I also really like Leverkusen over 1.5 goals at 2.00 odds as they looked electric on Monday. I’d probably do Leverkusen there.

Paderborn vs Hoffenheim: Hoffenheim were unlucky against Hertha I thought. Paderborn are shite. if Hoffenheim are going to get their season back on track, this is the game to do it. Especially with Paderborns top scorer obviously having fitness isues. Hoffenheim have a brutal injury list right now but if they can’t beat Paderborn they are a write off.Hoffenheim to win at 2.10 odds.
Freiburg vs Werder Bremen: Brutal return for Bremen who got thumped 4-1 by Leverkusen. Freiburg probably deserved to win last week and were unlucky. Bremen are a seriously struggling team and I feel Freiburg to win at 2.15 is a great price.
Wolfsburg vs Dortmund Dortmund are favourites at 1.72. They haven’t been at their best away this season. Wolfsburg have an excellent defense too. This is one where I feel like Dortmund should win, but 1.72 seems about right. Thinking about it I’ll take Dortmund to win although I feel it’s a slight risk and we may be sweating it.
Munich vs Eintracht Frankfurt:: Munich should be up for this one after the last time these two played. Munich should win but the odds not really there. I’ve explored this one looking at all the angles and no bet for me.
