The final game of the conference finals takes place tonight, as the Pittsburgh Penguins host the Ottawa Senators.
It’s Game 7 of this one. The Senators have stunned everyone by making it this far and they’re hoping for one more shock.
It takes place in Pittsburgh at the PPG Paints Arena. The Senators won here in Game 1 in a 2-1 overtime victory.
They played here in Game 2 and Game 5 as well. Game 2 saw the Penguins scrape a tight 1-0 victory however Game 5 saw an absolute thrashing by the Penguins as they ran out 7-0 winners.
What an interesting game this is going to be.
Penguins vs Senators Game 7:
Scott: Anderson had a huge bounce back game for the Sens in game 6 making 45 saves in the Sens 2-1 win.
Really not sure how to call this game.ย The safe bet would be to pick the Pens but the Sens got back to playing the defensive style that has them here.
I want the Sens to win and if you think they can and want to bet on them the odds are awesome for a Sens win.
I think this is more a game where we just sit back and enjoy a game 7 with the winner of the game going on to play the Preds for the Cup.
Graeme: I stand by pretty much what I said in Game 6.
It’s very hard to back the Senators. I’ll bet them as mathematically it’s the right choice. But I just can’t actually come out and tip them.
I don’t think there is any “smart insight” in regards to this game or anything. I think just it’s a straight mathematical decision. Even then with two losses here and a tight victory it’s tough to even bet them.
Good luck tonight with whoever you bet.

Ottawa win 100 %
Good Luck!
Ottawa win. Under 5.5. Good Luck !
Ottawa to win in regular time?
Ottawa win Reg and last time was 1927 they won Stanley cup ๐
I would bet ottawa wont lose in regulation or sens incl ot. Odds are awesome and ottawa can make it
Thanks mate!best regards from Portugal
i bet them last time after they gave up one when odds were super good, so i will bet them tonight too and also i heard when team wins 7:0 they never move up to next round. i think i heard that when san jose beat oilers 7:0 so i am definitely going with sens
Tonight promises to be a Thrilla in Pittsburghilla. I predict mayhem, so not bet (but strong lean for the UNDER, since Ottawa has stated it will get back to strong defensive tactics that has given them many wins), but have every finger and toe crossed that Ottawa wins it. Both teams will be on overdrive. Let’s hope good hockey wins it, and not penalties or lousy calls. Best of luck everyone! Whoever plays Nashville will be playing a monster, promising even more great hockey! Most exciting finals in ages?
I also like the under.
Penguins win %100
Over 5.5
Good luck!
Same here, but I prefer under. Good luck!
Are you “alive”? Nice to ear from you again. If there is a safe bet, under is the right choice instead of pick a side to win.
I’m still breathing and awaiting the next season. :))) Ahh. Hope it doesn’t make me look like an idiot, but I can’t believe Pittsburgh will lose this. But also I couldn’t believe that Ottawa played that good. I’m just happy that the Penguins made it that far and now I took this little bet, because I see them able to win against every team. Haha they should win this cup in my eyes. ๐ But if you are right with your prediction, it was the real better deal.
Sens were very profitable during the playoffs ๐
Penguins playing whole game like power play. Ottawa is very lucky and afraid they gonna win with that freaking luck.
I placed 2 bets before the start of this series:
1st: Sens +1.5 games @ 2.00 w/1u (already cashed); and,
2nd: Sens to win the series @ 3.23 w/0.5u
Now their odd is @ 2.73 so I am done for tonight! My thoughts were posted on may 23rd.

Really, really tough game to predict.
It’s always a bit of an unknown how big of a boost team gets when winning “backs against the wall” type of game. Sometimes it’s a huge boost, sometimes it doesn’t have any effect.
Looking at this series, 5 on 5 goals have been even. So even if the Pens are able to generate more offensive zone time and pressure, they haven’t really been able to translate that to dominant wins (outside of the 1 blowout, but the Sens had one as well).
However, that’s still a weapon in their own barn. Pens live off of momentum when they play in front of their fans, and they have that ability to turn momentum into goals.
Which brings me to special teams.. Pens have been clearly better in that area and that’s another thing that will swing momentum in their favor even if they don’t score.
I doubt Murray lost any of his confidence after the loss in Ottawa, it was still a good game for him.
So yeah.. Pens would be the logical choice. But when it’s best of 1 and Anderson is coming off of +40 save performance, you just never know.
Pens have never won a game 7 at home after losing game 6 on the road, Sens have never won a game 7. So history will be made tonight.
Im rooting for the Sens, but i think the Pens take it.
Good luck !
