Well that was a great night of hockey but a tough one to predict. We talked and went over all of the games just really couldn’t agree on any except one. Our only tip of the night was the Grand Salami Under 60.5 and we won that bet with the total goals on the night coming in at 57. But there were a few games last night that scared us; the Blues beating up the Leafs 6-3, the Coyotes beating the Islanders also 6-3and the Bruins beating the Oilers 4-2. But there were 6 games that came in at 4 or less goals so we won our bet with 4.5 goals to spare.

Well from 11 games last night to only 3 tonight. The Devils in Pittsburgh to take on the Penguins, the Capitals play the Panthers and the Oilers vs the Canucks. For a night with only 3 games on its still a good night of hockey with some of the game’s biggest superstars playing. In one game we have Crosby and Malkin in another we have Ovechkin and in the last game we have the young star Oilers vs the Sedins.

Some people consider today to be an unlucky day being that its Friday the 13th well I have to disagree. I was born on the 13th, of October to be exact, and have always found the number 13 to be lucky. Let’s hope that luck translates into some success tonight with the Tips

Let’s get to the NHL Tips for Friday, December 13th.

Devils vs Penguins: Penguins -1.5

This is game number 3 out of 4 between these 2 teams this year. The first game ended in a 3-0 win for the Penguins the 2nd in a 4-1 win for the Devils.

Expect the Penguins to come out swinging in this game. They are running on all cylinders right now and the record in their last 10 games is an impressive 7-2-1. The Devils on the other hand have had a rough go lately. Their record in the past 10 is 3-6-1 so these teams are headed in the opposite direction.

I like the Penguins handicap bet in this game even without the suspended James Neal. The Penguins are rested having not played since Monday when they beat the Jackets 2-1. So a rested and out for revenge Penguin squad is a scary sight.

Capitals vs Panthers: Capitals Win

This is the 2nd of 3 meetings with the Capitals winning the first game 3-2 in a shootout. But that was then and this is now and Ovechkin is playing out of this world right now. He has 48 goals in his last 50 regular season games which is incredible and has helped his team to 2nd place in the Metropolitan Division.

The Capitals come into this game on a 3 game winning streak and are running at full speed and can and will challenge for the Eastern Conference title this year. And with the Olympics coming up quickly Ovechkin and company will destroy this team tonight.

I like the Capitals -1.5 bet here but it’s hard to bet that when a team is on the road. I am going to bet both the Money line and the Handicap bet but Our Official tip is the Capitals to win. . If you are like me and think that the Caps will win big then don’t forget to bet the Handicap bet for some impressive 3.20 odds.

Entertainment Bet

Once in a while it’s fun to bet on something other than the outcome of a game and for tonight we have one of my personal favourite betting options, the Player Prop.

For tonight we are going to bet that Alex Ovechkin will continue his incredible play as of late and score a goal or at least have a pile of shots. Either way he will have yet again another monster game

For people who live in the USA you can place your bet on Ovechkin at Carbon Sports

For everyone else you can place your bet at [geocode id=5
