A decent night with the tips last night as we went 3-2.
We had the Penguins to win and they did but just barely winning 2-1 in OT. Despite taking the loss, Devils goalie Cory Schneider was great making 41 saves in the losing effort.
Next we had the Canucks -1.5 over the Sabres. The Sabres lost their 14th straight game 5-2. The Sabres are still dead last in the league and are 4 points behind Edmonton for 29th place.
Lastly we had the Blues to beat the Hurricanes which they did when they outlasted the Canes 3-2 in a shootout.
Our losses. We had the Hawks vs the Ducks going over 5.5 but it only hit 5 in the Hawks 4-1 win. Also had the Predators to win against the Avalanche but it was Colorado coming away with the 3-0 win.
As always on a Saturday, we have a nice full day of hockey with the first game starting at 1:00pm and the last at 10:30pm. In all its about 12 hrs of hockey and that’s awesome!
It’s Super Bowl Sunday tomorrow. There are 4 games going on and they are all early. 2 games at 1:00pm, one at 2:00 and one at 3:00pm. They do this so that all games are finished before opening kickoff and there’s no point in trying to get viewers to watch when one of the biggest events of the year is taking place.
Here are the tips for Saturday January 31st.
Hurricanes vs Rangers Betting Tips
The Rangers have looked strong over the last month. They come into this game on a 2 game losing streak. What a better time to end the streak when they are taking in a Hurricanes team who has had a rough year.
They have shown some signs of life recently going 6-2-2 over their last ten but still sit in the basement in the East and the league standings.
They played, and lost in OT, last night so they won’t be as rested as the Rangers. So we think this game will be all New York.

Panthers vs Devils
Devils played last night so there’s a good chance that Schneider gets the night off and the Devils will go with Keith Kinkaid.
The Panthers have been somewhat of a surprise this year and are currently in 9th place and only 6 points out of the final wildcard spot.
But we like the Panthers chances in this one
Panthers Win is our pick for this game
Oilers vs Flames Betting Tips
Battle of Alberta games are always great.
Thanks to a hot start to the year, the Flames sit 20 points ahead of the Oilers in the standings.
But as always when these two teams square off, there is more on the line than just the points. It’s the pride of their province. So place in the standings doesn’t mean anything
Tough to call a winner in these games, if I had to I would take the Flames, so we are going to go with a high scoring game.
