Good night of hockey ahead with a busy schedule.
In the late one, the Predators go to San Jose. If they win with Pekka in net then that would be the 200th victory for Rinne, out of 600 total franchise wins. Quite the stat.
And how about those Rangers? 1st in the NHL and that’s WITHOUT Lundqvist. That is seriously impressive. They beat the Capitals last night in a game we were hoping would go over, but unfortunately it did not do that as the Rangers held them to just 1 goal.
Kings vs Canucks:
We’re going to take the Kings to beat the Canucks for the third time this season.
They’ve played them twice before and the Kings won 3-2 in January in Vancouver, and 5-1 at home in November. The key to both games is the Kings really dominated. Matchup wise it just wasn’t close. In that 3-2 victory for example, the Kings shot 40 on net to 16.
Both teams come into this off the back of some rocky form, but I really like the Kings tonight. 1.80 odds, available at http://www.5Dimes.eu for Americans(Need to register to see lines) and and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else..
Sharks vs Predators:
I really want to back the Predators and Rinne tonight but I just can’t at the even odds. I think it can be a very tight game that will go either way.
I just feel that whoever will win – will win in a low scoring affair.
Go with Under 5 goals at 2.15 odds.
Canadiens vs Senators:
Always interesting games. Both teams are going into this with some low scoring games, but the Senators offense has been working well together and managed to score 3+ goals in a row earlier this month. This is a good game for the Habs to be motivated by, and I’m hoping for a nice competitive game because between these two teams, it usually means goals.
