Another strong night last night with the tips as Graeme went 2-1 to continue our great month of March.
We had the Blues -1.5 and this one came through with ease when St. Louis stomped the Oilers 6-2. Next was over 5.5 in the Lightning vs Panthers game and this was won before the 3rd even started in the Lightnings 5-4 win. Stamkos scored his first goal since breaking his leg and missing all that time and he also added an assist.
Our loss came when the Maple Leafs beat the Kings 3-2 after the Kings held a 2-0 lead after the 1st. The leafs went 2-1 on their California road trip and are now in second place in the Atlantic division.
A great Friday of NHL action for us with 8 games scheduled. Seven of these games have the potential to be amazing so let’s hope they are. The Ducks take on the Avalanche and with a win the Avalanche would be tied with the Ducks. The Struggling Canucks take on the also struggling Capitals.

This is the 3rd of 5 games between these teams with them both winning one each.
The Blackhawks were once the best team in the entire league but their luck has run out and have slipped down to 5th place in the Western Conference and no longer have home ice advantage if the playoffs were to start today.
The Preds have had a bad year all year and their luck won’t change tonight. They face a team who is looking to climb back into the top of the West and a determined Hawks team is a scary matchup for anybody.

I have been saying since the Olympic break that a team to watch out for is the Dallas Stars and my opinion hasn’t changed.
They are a good, young team with lots of fire power who are built for the long season.
Sure the Flames kicked the crap out of the Ducks the other night but anything can happen.
After what happened to Rich Peverley you know that this Stars squad will be dedicating everything they accomplish on the ice to him so they will be trying especially hard from here in out.
I like the Stars to take control of this game early and not look back and win with ease and push their winning streak to 4 games

Rangers vs Jets: Rangers Win
The Rangers have saved their season after a pathetic start and now find themselves sitting in 3rd in their division and 7th in the East.
The Jets are in yet another funk which they have been to many times this season and now are riding a 5 game losing streak.
This is the 2nd and final time these teams play with the Jets taking the first game. Not only are the Rangers fighting for the playoffs but they are out for revenge.

Manchester Monarchs won 7-0, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 5-1 won. Dallas Stars winning 1-0 2nd period,
