We went 1-1 last night. Pittsburgh and Anaheim Over 5.5 didn’t come in as the Pens won 3-2 in a shootout in a surprisingly quiet game, and we won the Rangers bet with a great roll by them in the 3rd period.

Scott was also very close to tipping the Red Wings but didn’t – a fact he reminded me about with sad smiley face text messages every time they scored – which was 7 times in an 11 goal thriller.

Two early games today, and I want to sit back and watch me some UFC and NHL so let’s get to the tips for Saturday, March 8th 2014:

Hurricanes vs Devils: Devils to Win In Regulation

2.10 odds for this one.

Devils are having no problems scoring lately, although last night was a crushing loss. Carolina though have been extremely poor since the Olympics ended.

I like the Devils offense to remain hot here, and pick up the win in regulation.

Bruins vs Lighting: Bruins to Win

Going with Bruins to sweep the Lightning having won their previous 3 games.

Tampa aren’t looking good, and even Stamkos being back didn’t change their fortunes. This is a big game for both teams, but I like the Bruins to do the business here. They’ve always matched up well with Tampa.

Back that for 1.83 odds at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.

Leafs vs Flyers: Over 5.5

Big night for both teams. Leafs always good for a couple of goals, and Flyers offense has been great lately. Their defense is also leaky which is all the better.

If the Leafs can sort their PP out then all the better.

Going with Over 5.5.
