During last night’s action we managed to go 2-1 with the tips so a good night. The Islanders – Penguins went over 5.5 goals in the Pens 4-3 win. The Ducks managed to score with 5 seconds left in overtime to give the Ducks a 1-0 win and this was so incredibly close it was crazy. The Montreal Canadiens beat the Capitals 3-2 for our only loss of the night

For today we have an awesome full day of hockey with 12 games on. The action begins at 1:00pm ET and the last games begin at 10:30pm so it’s going to be a busy day and I love it.

For tonight there are quite a few interesting match ups taking place: the Canadiens take on the Penguins in another test for the Habs who were able to hold one for the victory over the Caps last night. Chicago and Vancouver play and with me being a Hawks fan these are the games I circle on the calendar every year. The Ducks play the Coyotes with the Coyotes, Leafs vs Caps just so many awesome games it’s like Christmas has come early.

Let’s get to the NHL Tips for Saturday, November 23rd.

Senators vs Red Wings: Goal Before 9:30

It Seems as though almost every game that the Sens are involved in there is an early goal, be it them scoring or them getting scored on. This game should be no different.

This is the second of four meetings between these two clubs and this first on ended in a 6-1 Senators beat down of the Wings and it only took the Sens 5 minutes to score the first goal of the game.

The Red Wings will be looking to even the season series and will try to apply pressure from the early moments of this game. It’s a shame that Alfredsson can’t play due to injury as it’s was fun watching him face his former team.

Capitals vs Maple Leafs: Over 5.5 Goals

This is the first of 3 games for these two teams. The Leafs won the season series last year 2-1. But the big story from this game is it is the first time that Mikhail Grabovski makes his return to Toronto after leaving as a free agent last year.

Both teams have been able to score plenty of goals so far this year. The Capitals are currently leading the Eastern conference in goals scored with 71. The Maple Leafs are also in the upper half of the Eastern Conference in goals scored with 64.

This game should have no problem reaching the 7-8 goal range so we are jumping on the over for this game.

Avalanche vs Kings: Avalanche to Win

First game this year between these teams and it should be a good one. These teams both have 32 points on the year but the Avs have played 2 less games. The Avs have also had as much success this year on the road as they have at home.

Both teams are a little banged up; Colorado is without their top scorer in Matt Duchene. But the Kings have multiple injuries. Jeff Carter is out for a while same for Matt Greene. But the biggest loss for the Kings is that Jonathan Quick is not expected back until sometime in December.

The Avalanche will stretch their winning streak to 3 games with a win in this one. Bet the Colorado Avalanche to beat the Los Angeles Kings for an incredible 2.25 at http://www.5Dimes.eu for Americans(Need to register to see lines) and and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.. These odds may change to around the 1.95 range where they should be so be sure to act fast on this one.
