Great night last night as we went a perfect 3-0. And with the exception of only the Blues – Coyotes game the results were never really in question.

We had the Flyers vs Rangers game over 5.5 which it easily did when the Flyers won 5-4 in OT to even the season series at 2-2. Next we had the Ducks to beat the Hurricanes and they did, beating the Canes 5-3 but at one point it was 5-0 Ducks. Lastly we had the Blues to win in Ryan millers debut and it took until the third period where the Blues scored 4 unanswered goals to win 4-2 against the Coyotes.

For today we have 4 games; Blue Jackets vs Leafs, Sabres vs Stars, Flames vs Wild and Canadiens vs Kings.

Let’s get to the NHL tips for Monday, March 3rd

Blue Jackets vs Maple Leafs: Maple Leafs Win

It’s now or never for Toronto who need to play some strong hockey the rest of the season to make the playoffs.

They are holding onto 7th place in the East but Detroit, Washington and tonight’s opponent Columbus are all right behind them with games in hand

In the end the Leafs will make the playoffs. They are a great team who have been streaky all year but they will pull through and it begins tonight with a huge win over the Jackets to widen their lead over them

Bet the Maple Leafs to beat the Blue Jackets at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else. for 1.86 betting odds

Sabres vs Stars: Stars win in Regulation

One look at the western conference standings and it’s amazing how close it is. There is a total of 8 points separating the 7th place Wild and the 11th place Coyotes.

In the middle of that is the Dallas Stars who sit tied with the Canucks and Jets in 8th place with 66 points but have games in hand.

The Sabres couldn’t come to town at a better time for the Stars who have a 6-2-2 record in their last ten and will beat up the Sabres to try and gain ground in the playoffs.

I still think the Stars will get into the playoffs but it’s going to be a battle but not for tonight’s game

Bet the Stars in regulation for 1.76 betting odds at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.

Flames vs Wild: Wild win in Regulation

The Flames have played some good hockey of late going 7-3 in their last 10 but it’s to late for them and they now have taken on the role of spoilers for the remainder of the season.

The Wild also have played great lately and are on a 4 game winning streak which couldn’t come at a better time as the are in 7th. As mentioned above its a dogfight to the finish for the final 2 spots in the west. But the Wild have a nice 7 point lead over 8th place Stars, Jets and Canucks.

The Wild have spent way to much money in the last couple off seasons to not make the playoffs. They will make it in so the crazy spending doesn’t look so outrageous.

Bet the Wild in regulation for 1.86 betting odds at http://www.5Dimes.eu for Americans(Need to register to see lines) and and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.

Betting against Buffalo right now is just crazy. Until they get back to their woeful ways, I’m staying away from all things Sabres. A couple totals I’m taking tonight are CLB & TOR over 5.5 and Cal & Min under 5. Good luck fellas.
