The LA Kings vs Blackhawks series is getting INTENSE. The Blackhawks ares tarting to find out how tricky the Kings are. Yet again they took a lead – TWICE – in this game, only for the Kings to run riot on them and win the game 4-3.
Amazing stuff.
Hopefully you took advantage of both of the props we gave in yesterdays tips. We tipped Toews to score at 2.95 odds, and Jeff Carter to score at 2.50 odds and both did of course score.
Two huge wins there, and we’ll continue to do props as they’re always fun. Be sure to register over at Sports Interaction for that.
On top of that, you can get a BetNHL.ca exclusive $20 free bet there right now. Bet $20 on any team to win a game during the NHL Playoffs and if you lose, you get the $20 back. You must use this link to activate this exclusive free bet.

Okay so it’s May 25th, 2014. The all-important Game 4 for the Montreal Canadiens. If they win tonight, they take back home ice advantage. Even more importantly – they’ve shown they can actually win TWICE without Price in the net. I’ve been very impressed with Tokarski – and it’s all about confidence for the Habs at the moment. They were poor against the Rangers in Game 3 yet they managed to sneak out the win. This is a massive game and if they win this I think they can take the cup.
I am nervous as hell. Let’s get to the betting odds:
Rangers vs Habs Betting Odds:
Habs to win: 2.30
Rangers to win: 1.67
Over 5 Goals: 1.95
Under 5 Goals: 1.87

Rangers vs Habs Betting Tips:
Whew – first of all, those odds don’t look pretty at all.
As I’ve said – with the Over/Under 5 goals in the playoffs, it’s essentially a coinflip. So anything above 2.00 odds you should take and it’s +EV. Unfortunately today both lines fall under the required odds. Therefore that is not a play for me. It’s one of those bets where the only reason to bet it is if you want to add to the entertainment of the game – in which case the over will be a good bet for that.
As to who will win? Again – bad odds. Despite the last game going into overtime, this is where I’d be betting regulation time again. The Canadiens are 3.05 odds to win, and the Rangers are 2.05 odds. Both are favourable and can be bet at Sports Interaction (Exclusive: $20 Free Bet for Canadians) or for Americans try out Bovada and everyone else Bet365.com..
Rangers dominated the Habs last game – but Habs were very poor and sloppy yet still snuck out the win. That says a lot. Confidence is a big factor and the Habs had none of it in Game 3. If they regain their confidence, I have no doubt they can win Game 4 and take the series. But the question is – can they?
I think you can argue for both teams here to win the game. I personally won’t be betting on this game as there are just so many unknown factors. How will Stepan being out affect the Rangers for example?
Hopefully you can tell how on the fence I am. I’d lean towards Rangers tonight honestly – if only because of the teams they’ve looked the better in all 3 games, and the most likely to take the win in regulation.

Rangers vs Habs Betting Props:
I’m going with Carl Hagelin to score anytime for the New York Rangers.
4.40 odds on that one, and Hagelin is one of those players who is best to score at home.
