What an explosion of goals last night!! Pittsburgh put up 5 in their 5-1 win over the Sharks is a huge statement game. Florida also scored 5 in their win over the Jets as did St. Louis and Carolina in their wins. But the Oilers out did them all. Behind Taylor Hall and his 4th career hat trick the Oilers beat the Avalanche 8-2. The fact that the scored 8 goals is impressive but that they did it against a team that has been so much better than them so far this year makes this accomplishment just amazing.
The Habs continued their incredible play of late upsetting, if you can even call it that anymore when they win, the Bruins 2-1. They are now 8-1-1 in their last 10 and are in first in the Atlantic Division.
Our BetNHL December Dynasty is rolling along. If you want to look at the standings head to the Dynasty Standings Page.
A decent Friday for NHL games today. We have 6 scheduled and most of them have the potential to be awesome. So let’s get to the tips for Friday, December 6th
Avalanche vs Flames: Avalanche To Win
What has happened to the Avalanche? They started out the season and took the NHL by surprise but are now 5-5 in their last 10. The most stinging loss came last night when the Oilers destroyed them 8-2.
The Flames have also slowed down after a good start to the season but they were expected to do poorly this year after entering into full on rebuild mode.
I expect that Colorado will come out and get themselves back on track in this game. This is the second time they have played this year are scheduled to play 4 times in total. The Avs won the first game 4-2 and I expect much of the same tonight.
Let’s bet the Avalanche to beat the Flames at http://www.5Dimes.eu for Americans(Need to register to see lines) and and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else. for 1.83
Red Wings vs Devils: Devils Win
Both of these teams have played horribly lately. They have played only once since the 2011-2012 season so this will be an interesting game to say the least.
One team is coming out of this game with a win and you have to like the Devils chances being that they are at home and are facing an injured Detroit team.
Detroit is without the services of the dynamic duo of forwards Zetterberg and Datsyuk. Also missing are Darren Helm, Todd Bertuzzi and surprisingly effective rookie defenseman Danny DeKeyser. Let’s hope the Devils take advantage of a banged up Red Wing squad and pull out a win in this one.
Back the Devils for 1.80 odds at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.
Ducks vs Blackhawks: Over 5.5 goals
Both teams come into this game on 2 game losing streaks so both of these top Western Conference teams need to fix that and soon.
The Hawks are going to be looking to win after that back and forth loss last night to the Wild. While the Ducks are anxious to get back in the win column after losing to both of their California opponents last week.
The Ducks are starting to get some players back from the Injured Reserve so expect the goals to start rolling in again. The Blackhawks lead the NHL in goals scored with 108 which is 11 goals more then the 2nd place team the Sharks (97)
I think the Hawks will bounce back for the win tonight but just no value to be had with that bet. So let’s go with the Over on this game. Bet the Ducks – Blackhawks game Over 5.5 for 1.83 betting odds at Bovada for Americans and http://www.Bet365.com for everyone else.
