Only 3 games yesterday and the results were unexpected.
I went with the Wild to win in regulation against the Blackhawks but the Hawks managed to score in the extra frame to win 2-1 in overtime snapping their losing skid at 2 games. This was the first win the Hawks have had against the Wild since December of 2019.
The Sharks shutout the Devils 1-0 with Blackwood making 44 saves against his former team. The loss ended the Devils winning streak at 3 games. The Ducks ended their losing skid at 4 games when they beat the Jackets 4-2. Gibson made his season debut for the Ducks after having an emergency appendectomy in September.
6 games scheduled for us tonight. It’s Remembrance Day which is a holiday for some people and thanks to that we have a game starting early today.
Canadiens vs Sabres
Habs have lost 6 games in a row and on the road they have been equally as bad going 1-5-1.
The Sabres have won 3 games straight, they are 6-4-0 in last 10 and 5-4-0 at home.
Sabres have better numbers in Corsi and Fenwick, they are scoring more and allowing less and their expected goal numbers are better. All signs point to a Sabres win.

Sharks vs Flyers
Sharks played yesterday and won.
Both teams are in 8th in their divisions with the Sharks the Pacific and the Flyers the Metro.
Just two teams I have no faith in at the moment so it’s a pass for me.
Stars vs Penguins
Stars are 5-5 in last 10 but are 2-4-0 on the road.
The Pens are 3-5-2 last 10 and 3-3-0 at home.
The Corsi for is basically tied, Pens have the advantage in shots for and it’s a tie for XGA.
Would have to take the Stars in regulation to get any value but they are on the road here and they record for the month November is 1-3 so not something that gives me confidence.
Kings vs Flames
Kings have had a decent season so far. They are in 1st in the Pacific with 21 points but the Knights are right behind them with 20 in 2 fewer games. They haven’t had the best results on the road though where they have gone 5-3-2.
The Flames are 3-5-2 in last 10, have lost 2 in a row and are at home where they’ve gone 4-3-0.
Flames have the slight advantage in CF. Kings are scoring more and allowing less which they are expected to do. The only issue I have is are the Kings going to be able to beat the Flames in Calgary when tje Flames look ready to turn things around having their last 3 games go to extra time.
Predators vs Avalanche
Both teams are expected to do better than they currently are. These teams played each other once so far this season and the Preds won that one 5-2.
The Predators grabbed some huge pieces in the off season but still find themselves in 8th in the Central Division and have gone 1-3-1 on the road.
The Avalanche have been hit by the injury bug and are having a hard time playing consistently. At home they have gone 4-5-0.
Just having a tough time picking a winner here.
Hurricanes vs Knights
Big game between two teams expected to be near the top of the standings.
The Canes are 8-2 in last 10 and just had their win streak snapped at 8 games. On the road they have gone 5-2-0. The are 4th in GPG and 1st in shots. They are 6th in GAPG and 1st in SOGA.
The Knights are 6-2-2 in last 10 and 8-0-0 at home. They are 2nd in GPG, 15th in shots, 11th in GAPG and 13th in SOGA. They are only 1 point behind the Kings for top spot in the Pacific and they have 2 games in hand.
I am curious to see how the Canes respond after having their win streak snapped. Also the Knights should have a strong game where they can move into 1st in the division and are at home where they haven’t yet lost.
J. Farabee for Flyers, M. Duchene for Stars and R. Andersson for Flames to score. Had T. Thompson to score for Sabres, but they allready started 🫣
Hey I noticed when you made your first picks few days ago. It was on Larkin and Rakell. And I noticed how Larkin scored. But next day you commented that the bet was lost because Rakell didn’t. And I’ve seen couple of your choices today.
I just was curious, you choose to parlay your picks rather than bet them straight up? Or do you do both from time to time?
Hey, I parlay them:)
I’ll take shot on Calgary +115.
Don’t feel great about it and I don’t think there’s much value either. I think they got it priced pretty fair. But it could be a spot where Calgary gets the win. Nothing else jumps out so it’s worth a play for me. Won’t be shocked if Kings take care of business either.
