There was only two games yesterday. Although it was a slow day of NHL action its nice to have a night like that once in a while to allow yourself time to process what happened leading up to that point.
The Blackhawks played host to the Sabres and the Hawks won 4-1. Chicago’s 3rd overall pick Kirby Dach scored twice which now has him with 5 goals and 4 assists in 14 games this season. This was the Hawks 4th win in a row. With the loss the Sabres are 2-6-2 over their last 10 games.
The Knights finally had themselves a good third period scoring 4 times and easily beat the Flames 6-0. The Knights had held leads in six of their last 8 games and led by two in three of those. But they found a way to lose their last 5 heading into yesterdays game. The Flames have now lost 4 in a row.
For the poll yesterday we asked which teams would win and with 33% of the vote our readers nailed it with Blackhawks and Knights.
Another slow night of hockey with only 2 games.
Ducks vs Capitals Betting Tips:
The Caps took a loss on Friday against the Habs but managed to pick up a win on Saturday against the Bruins 3-2 but needed 5 rounds of a shootout to get the win.
Washington is 8-1-1 over their last 10. One thing about this team is their play away from home where they are 10-1-1 on the road. When you can have that kind of success as a visiting team you are going to have a good year.
The Ducks are 4-4-2 over the last 10 games. They won their last game against the Blues but had lost 5 in a row heading into that one.
The Caps will be looking to put together another win streak here. They are at home where they have been decent going 5-2-3. They are the best offensive team in the league so far and that production should give them the win here.
