We had only one tip yesterday and shortly after the tip was posted the Oilers fired Todd McLellan and Graeme edited the tips to say that it would be best to just avoid this game.
Good call there. We had the Sharks to win in regulation against the Oilers and having their coach fired gave the Oilers a kick in the ass and they won the game 4-3 in OT.
Its crazy that McLellan gets fired when it was Chiarelli who traded Taylor Hall, signed Lucic to a dumb contract and went all in with Cam Talbot in goal. With McLellan gone now that’s one less person for Chiarelli to hide behind. Ken Hitchcock is now the Oilers coach and he picked up his first win in his first game. Hitchcock is an incredible choice but I’m worried that this team is to far gone.
The Blues also fired their head coach Mike Yeo and replaced him with Craig Berube. This team should be much better than they are so hopefully this change can fix things for them.
A busy night of action with 14 games. Let’s get to the tips and see if any more coaches are fired.
Maple Leafs vs Hurricanes Betting Tips:
The Leafs have been great. Even without Matthews they are still playing incredibly well. They are on a 4 game win streak. They are in 1st place in the East and 2nd in the league only 1 point behind the 1st place Predators. Andersen has been amazing this year and doesn’t get enough credit for what he does. Hes 12-5 with a 2.08 GAA but all attention goes to their forwards.
The Canes have been decent this year but I dont think they have enough to win this game. They are 3-5-2 over their last 10 and only 5-4-2 at home this season.
I expect a low scoring game but I like the Leafs chances to come away with the win.

Flyers vs Sabres Betting Tips:
The Flyers are struggling right now. They have gone 2-9 over their last 11. It looks like they will be starting Alex Lyons in this game which would be his season debut.
The Sabres have been putting together a strong season so far. They come into this game on a 6 game win streak.
Tough to bet against the Sabres, strange even typing that, right now and against a struggling Flyers club I’m backing them.
