Only three games yesterday.
The Sabres beat the Panthers 5-2. Ullmark made 43 saves in the win. This was the first time that the Panthers have lost consecutive games in regulation this season.
The Hurricanes beat the Red Wings 2-0. Reimer only had to make 19 saves, 11 of those were in the 1st period, for the shutout which was the 22nd of his career. The Wings only registered 5 shots in the 2nd and 3 in the 3rd.
The final game of the night was the Oilers vs the Coyotes and it was the best game of the day. It was a back and forth game and it was the Oilers winning 4-3 in a shootout.
The Grey Cup took place last night and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers beat the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 33-12 for their first Grey Cup win in 29 years.
My daughter had her first hockey tournament over the weekend and after her team lost the first two games they came back to win 2 in a row. After each win the girls went crazy. It was a great moment and I was super proud of not only my daughter but the whole team. These girls are making bonds that will last forever and you got to love sports for that. I’m sure the hotel was glad to see us leave though as a team full of 10 year old girls kind of took over the whole place.
We have a nice and busy Monday of NHL action with 9 games scheduled.

What the Islanders are doing at the moment is incredible. They are on the road where the have gone 6-1-1 this year. All signs point to an Isles win and I have to follow that
