A slow night with only 4 games and one tip. But we did win our top so it was a 1-0 night.
We had gone with Over 5.5 in the Flames vs Coyotes game and this came through when the Flames won 6-1. Calgary scored 2 goals per period scoring all 6 of their goals in a row. And they managed to score three times shorthanded
All 4 games had totals of 7 goals each so it was nice night of action. The Lightning beat the Devils 5-2. The Devils went with Schneider in goal for this one and his struggles continued as he is now 0-5 on the year. What happened to this guy? He used to be one of the best.
Believe it or not, the Oilers lost again. This time to the last place, in both the West and league, Kings. It must be so hard for McDavid to be part of this mess. The guy has been a winner at every level of hockey he has played at yet is on a disaster of a team. Sucks to see his talent go to waste and it would be amazing to see him play with some talented players.
A decent night of hockey with 5 games. Had a hard time coming up with a tip and found only one that is a half unit bet.
Capitals vs Islanders Betting Tips:
Should be a good game here between two of the top 3 teams from the Metro.
The Caps are starting to look good and proving why they won the Cup. They have won 5 in a row and now get to take on a team with a familiar face behind the bench.
Barry Trotz will face his former team and receive his ring after guiding the Caps to the cup last year. If you had told me that the Isles would be in 3rd in the Metro at the beginning of the season, I would have laughed but here they are.
The Caps will be looking to show Trotz that life goes one without him so I expect them to win. Going with a half unit though as Trotz has done a great job coaching the Tavares-less Isles and with the way this team has been performing I feel more comfortable getting less.
